Supposedly a call from Windows Security saying system has crashed.

it's the windows scam again. same scam new angle they claim there system crashed. you are now offered a refund you just give them your account info and they will drain it for you.

Scam telling me in a strange automated voice DO NOT HANG UP it is from Microsoft windows technical support, and I have paid for ? something and I need to wait for someone to get on phone....SCAM!

I got a message from this number.  Microsoft Tech support apparently has been ordered to give me a refund.  Poor MS.  I'll just let them keep the money that I didn't give them.

I should have known better than to answer a toll free number.  Answered out of  curiosity and they said they were from Microsoft security.  "Please do not hang up" and that is when I hung up.

Robo caller scam called 2/20/2019 at 2:54pm - left message on answering machine about some computer product refund and to press a number. Suspected phishing scam.

Recorded message telling me to call this number - Microsft scam looking to "refund" my money, system crashed and my contract is cancelled!!

Message said something about if you needed technical support a few months ago, the company has been forced to close down and to call them to get a refund or something like that-ridiculous!

Just got an automated message from these pathetic losers. I also got a pop up window as well. Fortunately my antivirus got rid of anything that was detected.

Phone call with robot leaving msg says (first words cut off, believe they say, 'you contacted or maybe joined?  If they are saying you joined like you would Geek Squad or something. Many do so good way to fool people)  "....computer technical support a few months ago. We are calling to refund your money at the company has been ordered to close down . Please call us at our toll free number 1-888-598-0578on, again 1-888-598-0578. Thank you."

Left message claiming I had a refund from them and to call back!!

This scam has been on going for months now.  This is our 9th call from these criminals (using various telephone numbers) in as many weeks.  The really sad part that many Americans actually fall for this scam.  Have now blocked all future calls from 888 598.  Called at 11:37am, CID read "800 Service."

A badly taped female voice said Microsoft is closing down and we are due a refund for our technical support which was paid in full a few months ago. Just call them at 888 598 0758 and we will get it :)

"Ago we are calling to refund your money as the company has been ordered to close down please call us on our toll free number 1 (888) 598-0758 on repeat again 1 (888) 598-0758. Thank you." Don't even know who they are calling. LOL
