caller wanting to remote in to my computer for a refund????????

Said microsoft was shutting down and I was due a refund, it was Cathy jackson who called. SCAM i am sure

Correct...It is a CROOK who wants remote access to your computer.  There is NO refund & Microsoft does not cold call!

Same as above. Microsoft has shut and they need to refund money I paid several months ago.

A Robodialled call from “Kathy Jackson,” at 1.888.496.1141, informed me (with brief moments of static) that Microsoft is “going out of business” and the company will issue a refund if I call 1.888.598.0758. That the world’s largest and most valuable software company (ranked #30 on the 2018 Fortune 500 list) has quietly decided to “go out of business,” without even a hint in the news or social media nor from any other electronic information system, that such a sensational event is about to occur, is absurd. That this would result in a refund for every Microsoft customer is ludicrous. That the multinational technology giant would use an automated dialling system to call individuals on their landlines or their cell phones, or would communicate even by means of an email instead of alerting them electronically on their computers is laughable.

Thanks for putting these messages out every one. I have received three calls now it says call 855-598-0758. The other message said 888. I always check to see if it's a scan and thanks to you all I now know it's really a SCAM.
