I pick up but don't say anything and enjoy listening to them say "Hello" "Hello" "Hello" until they hang up.  Takes about four hellos and 20 seconds.  Sometimes I ask them for their promotional code for their extended car warranty or if they need to file a claim their customer number.  

Calls a few times a week, caller ID says 'unavailable', nobody at the other end of the line when I pick up, just a hang-up click.

Beware it is a scam . They switch you to long distance without your consent

They Never stopped calling. They claim to be AT&T , Verizon  ..........
They use different numbers : 866 593-4894 ,   888-627-9399  .............

I get these calls every "F"ing day!!!!!!
I blocked the call with my call blocking device that I bought off and online auction.  The old wall phone in the kitchen rings once and then the blocker sends the call into a black hole somewhere.  I turned down the wall phone and I can barely hear it ring.  Makes me smile when I do.

Some lost person looking for a tree service. He apparently fell out of one and landed on his head.

Called 5 times in 5 min. Blocked after that.... Silence is golden.

Called this AM with "May I speak to the person who has the AT&T account?"  I told him to unhand my unlisted number, I was going to report him to the FCC, and hung up.

FCC Enforcement does not seem to be working well.

A man called saying he was from Century Link and said I qualified for a discount on my long-distance service. I don't have a business at home and it was my residential home number, so I was confused. He had obviously found me by looking up businesses on the Business Registry. I had gone out of business 10 years ago -- but still had the same number. Anyway, I called Century Link to see if his number was one of theirs and it wasn't. So, it's a scam.

A man called saying he was from Century Link and asked to speak to the manager of my business phone service. He then said I qualified for a discount on my long-distance service. I don't have a business at home and it was my residential home number, so I was confused. Anyway, I did a *69 to get his number and called Century Link to see if his number was one of theirs. It wasn't. So, it's a scam.

Wanted to talk to the person who handles our Verizon business account. We don't use Verizon at all and "divorced" them due to complete incompetence and lack of any quality customer service. We're on voip now (for 3 years), so I played along. He told me we "qualified" for a discount on our verizon service and that it could be applied immediately. I said go ahead (knowing there is 0% chance he could slam or force our service to be changed without my consent). Said the call would be recorded, I said ok. Said he was going to put a manager on, I said ok. Waited about 10 seconds and the call disconnected.

Dang! There goes my huge savings!

SCAMMERS.  Just read their BBB complaints and you'll know why to hang up the phone IMMEDIATELY and run for the hills.

I get a call from this number about weekly. Keeps asking for the "person in charge of the AT&T account". I say this a business and all telephone contracts and agreements are handled by our corporate HQ. Quickly says "thanks" and hangs up. So annoying. When will they get the point?

Asking for the person in charge of our AT&T account.  I asked him was he with AT&T and he said no he is with ALD something Long Distance, I don't remember what the "a" stood for.  He claims they are authorized through AT&T to speak to us about lowering our long distance.  I said no thanks, we can talk to our rep about that and hung up.

Got at call from this number 888-627-9399 AT THE SAME TIME 2 REPS FROM VERIZON WALKED THRU MY DOOR.
The 2 Verizon guys had come by last week and I did not have time for them to review my account, which again today I do not have time to allow them to review the account. It takes about an HOUR and they do not offer any significant discount on my service! The guy on the phone instantly hung up when he asked to speak to the person who handles my Verizon account and I told him VERIZON REPS were physically here in my office with me right now.

Honestly, all this needs to be synched up and the telemarketers need to understand business people do not want to sign up for anything over the phone with reps they can not see. We certainly are not going to give our account information over the phone nor ae we going to give any payment information on the phone.

I just got a call from this number. I hate these people calling.... I got back at them for wasting my time. I didnt say a word...but just belched into the phone. Whoever it was, promptly hung up. HAHAHAHA!!! Im having a good laugh now. Take THAT scammers!
