Unfortunately as the lady I spoke with repeatedly pointed out to me it is clearly stated in the Terms and COnditions that "No refunds of any kind will be issued after 7 days of any transaction date." I saw that stated no where else when I signed up however it is the most legal binding part of the whole situation which obvisouly we all should have actually read through. I hope like me we can all walk away from this knowing to no longer trust internet scams and only give our card number to parties we trust and have read the Terms and Conditions. I'm going to try to write that address the commentor provided but it sound slike I can kiss that $72 goodbye. Which as a college student is quite hard.

I was also scammed in November I thought I was going to be charged $3.88 + s/h (to date never received). On 11/19/08 I was charged $72.21 and when I found out I called a number (transferred to a different department) and was given a confirmation # for the cancellation..  I was charged again 1/9/09 another $72.21 and they are trying to tell me - that can't be true.. "They don't see it on their screen"..  I asked the person to have his supervisor to call my bank - and he refused and made the comment - I would have to work with my bank to get the money back.. What's stupid - is they refunded the money back in November when they took the cancellation and I received the confirmation #..
I today turned them over to the BBB of Nevada - the State the phone # is from...

I never received nor did I check out any Internet investment scheme yet I had three debit charge to my account, One for $3.88, $4.99 and then the $72.21. It took a little over a month, but I called my bank and complained. They told me that I needed to list my debit card as stolen and recived another with a new number. The bank did credit the charge along with three overdrawn charges I had as the result of these charges.

What I just happened to notice is I had signed up for Reunion.com about one week prior to the debit charges. I think that had something to do with it. If you signed on to a Web site like that or one that charges something and you use your debit card and you didn't land on any google money site or received no phone call, this is likely the reason you were charge.

Bug your bank if you don't get satisfaction if you were charged anything for this scam or any other false charges on your debit/credit card. They are obligated to clear it. You will probably get a notification that they will be investigating and if it is found that the charges were indeed valid, you will be charge back for those charges. Ask for the e-mail or phone number of the debit card services.

Well I found out today that this Google Pro is a bunch of bull. I'm so pissed right now I could do some real damage but you live and you learn. I'm mad at myself for trying to trust again. These scumbags have billed me for 72 dollars for the same deal they have run on all of us but I won't stop until people like these are out on their behinds in the cold where snakes should be.

Same, I got myself into this fix too. I received neither their email containing a login and password info nor the kit itself. I called my credit card company today to dispute the charges of $72. I hope the dispute comes in my favor. These guys need to be put behind the bars.

I ordered a Google Kit for $3.88 but sent it back because I did not recognize the sender. Also $72.21 was taken out of my bank. I do not know why and for what. It was done without my knowledge and consent. I innocently wanted to earn more money and that is why I ordered the kit but did not know that $72.21 would be taken out of my bank. Nothing was told me about anything involving this kit. This is just not good business and shows me that they were not of good morals.

This is the second time this has happened to us.  Around Christmas time, we got a call from the fraud division of our credit card company.  We hadn't used the card for several months and they noticed a lot of activity that was all internet charges.  We had made NONE of them.  One of them was Internet Initiative for $72.21.  I told them that these absolutely were not our charges.  I never received any phone calls, but the number next to the charge was 1-888-657-8585.  She immediately cancelled our card and re-issued us a new one.  An investigation was done and they found that these charges were fraudulent and we were not responsible.  The other day I got a letter from the credit card company saying that they have also removed that account from my credit report, which was very nice of them.  We just got a credit card bill for our new card and guess what's on it?  Yep, a $3.88 charge for Internet Initiative!  I have had ABSOLUTELY no contact with these people because I know it's a scam and I don't want them to have any more of my information than they already do!  Now we are going to have to cancel yet another card.  These people need to be stopped, but I don't know where to start!  I saw a story on the national news that there was a HUGE credit card breach a while back, but apparently it's still going on!

This Google Pro Kit is a complete scam. We ordered the $3.88 "Pack" on 3/11/09. On 3/17/09 @ 9:00pm we received a phone call from 801-944-3896. A man named Crawford went into the details of the program. He stated that he was a Jr.Consultant for the Froogle group. After a few basic questions (How much do you pay in rent, credit card balances, annual income, etc...) he informed me that he would be drafting a letter of recommendation to his Sr. Consultant for our "candidacy" in the program. At which time he assured us we would see the "package" by this Friday, or Tuesday at the latest. I am not holding my breath, nor was I going to wait for a $72.21 charge to appear.

THIS IS HOW YOU TAKE CARE OF THIS... It's Plain and simple. I just completed the process.

If you signed up for this Scam, contact your Credit Card provider. Tell them you have become victim of an internet scam that you were unaware of. Ask them to close the account IMMEDIATELY and issue you a new card with a new account number. If you use your credit card for other re-occurring payments, you must also contact those businesses and let them know the new account # when you receive your new card.

My Credit Card company was very helpful! All of this was done in a matter of 10 minutes on the phone. I will have my new card in 7-10 days and these Scam artists will never see their $72.21 for the first month, or any month thereafter.

If you use your Debit Card, I suggest trying the same method with your bank.

I know this was a long blog, but I hope it helps before others get hit by this BS company!

I didn't receive any calls or anything, just a random $3.88 charge on my debit card with this phone number and "internet initiative" on the online bank statement. I never give out my card # or put it in on random sites, only when I'm buying stuff from secure trusted sites. i'm not stupid. So somehow they got my card from somewhere else. No calls, no emails, nothing in the mail. I will call tomorrow to get this sorted out cuz I don't have the kind of money to give to these scammers.

These people called our cell phone Thurs. Hubby spoke to them and told the guy he didn't order anything and hung up. I didn't give it much thought but I did have a bad feeling and told hubby something wasn't right. On saturday I checked our bank account info as I always do weekly and there were 3 unauthorized charges made via debit card. We don't use our debit card online very often but had made a small transaction thru ToysRUs.com and then these small charges. Hubby was able to talk to bank on Monday and cancel debit card. Monday evening they called him again and told him he signed up for this and would be charged. We were able to get some info out of them but I doubt any of it is real or trustwrothy. We have activated fraud alerts on our credit reports, with our cards as well as with our bank since they somehow got our cell # which is only used for work and family and used our debit card number. We are very responsible people who have filters and security in place on our routers and computers and use a shredder to shred all personal info so this really pisses us off more than anything else. Especially since my husband is a 15 year veteran of the armed services. They really have messed with the wrong people!
