I picked up and the person didn't say a word

NRS medical accounts collections unit -

I answered; call disconnected.

This number said they're from Nationwide Discovery, and daiining that I have some kind of debt and in order to confirm I asked to give me an email or mail asap.  And they say they sent me mails and emails and so I checked and no school ch emails or mails from such number or organization.  As they're calling me again and again for my debit information.  And I'm wondering if they're scammers especially after I told my brother about this, and he says they are after I told them how their accent was.  I searched up Nationwide Discovery and their number didn't match the number that called me.  If I have to pay to clear such debt they should send me the bill to confirm I have to.  They're saying they'll send my bank to collection company.

Person could not speak clearly and when asked why they needed information they said it's a personal matter. Never gave information and told them to tell me why they called and not to call me again.

Person from India calls with thick accent can't hardly understand him and says he is collecting debt for $ 139.00 when I ask who is collecting for he has trouble finding then he says DRS and I ordered product from them.B.S.! I never did and if I did I would have material. Just a scammer trying to get money by scamming people again. He can go to ---- if He thinks I am paying him ! Get so mad when scammers are using every tool to scam You !

Telling me that I owe $986.32 to ER at my local hospital. Which may be true but.... It was 6 years ago and never received a bill in mail. My insurance lapsed at the time. Since then I have been to the same hospital numerous times and nothing said. Nor any calls from their billing department! I have had scammers calling a lot lately!  From this to "IRS" Lol come on.... Seriously!

Thick accent from India. Told me I had taken out a policy and owed 130.00 something. I told them I hadn't taken any policy out with anyone. No more speaking from their end. I said bye bye and he said bye. SCAM!

Same here. Last February they called and said I ordered something and I didn't. They wanted 239.00 I hung up on them. They called again today saying they were some financial institution. Had my numbers backwards and my son's name Robert.  Think I'll just block this number

A bill over 7 yeas is statue of limitations.... It's a scam call

BEWARE!! Bunch of thieves with Indian/Pakistani accent claiming they are nationwide collection agency and Saying I owe money to supplement company from two years ago. I hang up on them, you should do the same.

Nation Wide Discovery saying i owe them $ 139.00 which You are getting too. They are a bunch of scammers. They don't stop either. I posted already about them.

Man named Derek with thick Asian accent said he wouldn't talk to me as he was trying to locate my husband.  Try to get me to confirm my mailing address and I told him I wouldn't confirm anything until he told me what this call was about.  He said it was personal.   So I told him to take our number off his calling list and hung up.

Debt collection scam.  Tell them to send you the letter:

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

They actually left a 41 second voicemail.  All I heard was 41 seconds of crunching as they were obviously eating, not realizing that they did not disconnect.  LMAO.
