Same voicemail from the same number.  After some searching, apparently this is a new scam going around.  Not a real person on the other end, either.  It was a robovoice.

I got the same message in my voice mail today. Threatening local police.  I have no clue who they are but I, not calling them back.

Just wondering if any of you went into an AT&T store on2/28/19. I have been getting these messages and others like it on my phone and my wife's ever since he scanned my drivers ID and took my phone to look at it. All I went in for was a sim card.

Supposed to be the IRS threatening to block my bank account if I didnt get ahold of them in 24 hours.
Then they said i had to call the above number

Didn’t pickup; called them back and they said they were the IRS. I didn’t talk to them.

I got a missed called with exactly the same message and I did call back to see what this was about....After the threats I told the man on the phone that I haven't filed taxes, have no properties or drivers license and Live in a shelter he hung up on me!!! Definitely scam!!!

Two things: I'll never be caught. Second, if my county's local Police is calling my voicmail and not blowing new doorways through my roof, you can bet i have enough OgaaDouga in my busted knuckles to knock whatever Rent-O-Cop this out of country call center service is gonna send after me into a third party line across town. MINTY

It's not the IRS. That's not how they work. I used to work there.
