Same situation as other comments. Going to turn over to local police if this number wasn't called within 24hrs. 4 serious allegations against my name, blah blah blah.

No, I think Nigeria is bored. Have not visited, nor have AT&T. Hate these stupid callers!

Same voice message about three times today. Allegations against me and I will be taken into custody if I don't respond.

I got the same scam voicemail

HEy Jim did you find out anything else...we didn't go into an At&T but we have been doing business in another county for the last month and now my husband's phone is blowing up with these threats...just curious.  We would like to do something about this.

Somehow you seem to be blissfully ignorant of the well publicized IRS scam that has been going on for close to 10 years now. How about you think about correcting that by reading up on it?

Exact same message I reported it to local authorities. Do not call the number. It may well bill charges to your number.

Automated voice about the irs and taxes I filed with four serious allegations against me and if I did not respond I would be taken by the police.

It said call failed after like 15 seconds lol. So I called back and an actual person called. I just got a call from them like 5 mins ago. What I normally do for spam calls is answer and immediately put myself on mute. Apparently it’s someone claiming to be the IRS.

This phone call is a scam. If you get a call from them and you have time just play along and waste their time. Then tell them that you will post a video of your conversation with them onto social media for the world to see.

Same thing:  "Regarding your tax filings from the headquarters which will get expired in the next 24 working hours and once it get expired after that you will be taken under custody by the local police as there are four serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment. We would request you to get back to us so that we can discuss about this case before taking any legal action against you. The number to reach us is 888-682-4412. I repeat 888-682-4412. Thank you...."  I called them and asked "What's this all about" and he hung up; called back, he threatened to _kill my family_ - dead give away it is NOT the IRS hah ha ha.  Sounded like a "boiler room" operation with lots of talking in the background and very bad accents.

At least I’m not alone I got the same call this morning

I have recieved the same call from the same number. Theyve called me repeatedly. Claiming i was going under federal custody because I failed to pay taxes. And then they hung up on me.

Called me twice with same robot voicemail, new IRS scam ....

Same message 2 time, when called back person with non American accent state I will keep calling you, and send police to you if not give information to the IRS.

Robotic, threatening message with interrupted beginning;  no explanation of who caller is.

Got the call on voicemail and my boyfriend had called back as I was reading the comments above.... "Hello. How are. You. Do.ing. today." From the scam callers voice, and my boyfriend replied , "hi, I'm doing well, but I was wondering if you could please give me your mother's address so I could go [***] her.?"

BEEP! (they hung up).

Said there are 4 allegations against my name and I would be going to jail in 24 hours.

Called my cell, the number of which I rarely give out. Left the same voicemail other have reported about 4 serious allegations. They want you to call them to "discuss about this case" which we found hilarious.
