- WWDaze replies to HerbertThey apparently use many numbers, mine was from 844-493-0968.
- BigA replies to WWDazeFederal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

Thought it was "fishy" since I have a record of every date I've had an image done. Contacted my insurance company just to "double check"...and low and behold they said I did not have any claim from that date, and all of my images from my current claims have been paid in full. Total scam all the way! Curious how they got my info!

- Jship2003 replies to SusanSusan, you are very much incorrect. I received a call about services that never happened and even contacted both of my providers and insurance to make sure I did not have any outstanding balances. They also indicated that this was there final attempt and was going to be turned over to collections in 5 days. Total scam since I have never an outstanding balance on any of my insurance claims.
- donald purvis replies to JimI received a bill today that said I owe $23.13 They filed Medicare as the primary.I have tri care for life. Will try and call them again tomorrow.I may be old but not stupid!!! RetiredMilitary!!!
- srsoldReceived a call threatening collection for imaging services. All meds are paid. Calling number showed 888-727-1047. Stated an account number, my phone number and info for paying online.

- jes replies to charlotte molloyYep...I just got a call from this number as well...I hate scammers!
- TrudyI also got a call, which was put on my voice mail, saying we owed them 25.00 and if I don't respond they will send it to a collection agency. We have Medicare and a good secondary insurance who picks up the remainder of the bill. I called the number they gave me and it was in Spanish. Sorry I don't speak or understand Spanish, so I guess I don't pay the bill.

- NotI received a call on 8/12 and again today from 888-685-4016. Both times, they left an automated voicemail message directing me to pay for an overdue bill for "Radiology Medical Group" online at www.ezmedinfo.com/rmgi. The message references an "account number" and addresses me by my first name only. No amount due is mentioned. Very suspicious since I work for a healthcare system and have full coverage for in-system services. Since I haven't had any radiology visits this year and have not received any bills in the mail, I am not going to respond to these calls.

- Heidi replies to JimI recieved the same message from ezmed info from a different number (855- 381-9177). I also do not owe anything, and did not return contact. Very fishy.
- David| 1 replyI got a text message notifying me that my insurance company had not responded to their billing request. Even though they didn't ask for payment, the test message set off red flags for me. Now, I did have some x-rays done a few months ago. I called the hospital I was treated at directly and they confirmed that this company was associated with them and "read" the x-rays. I then got a phone number from the hospital directly at and it was 888-727-1070 (different from the one in the text message). I called the number and they confirmed the website ezmedinfo was their site.
Now, they didn't ask me for any payment, only letting me know that my insurance carrier had not responded to their claim, so I would be suspicious in case anyone tries to spoof the number and demand payment. But in my case it was legit and I confirmed this through my hospital first making sure they contracted with them and getting a number directly through them. - Ed replies to DavidI got the same text message as David. Called the number from the text message and an automated voice message said I owed $1,261 for an MRI. I did have an MRI in October but the name of the radiology group mentioned in the text message was not the name of the group where my MRI was performed.
I called the insurance company, mentioned the amount and was told that they paid $600 out of $1,261 (it was an auto accident and $600 is the amount that state of NJ mandates to be paid for this type of service. It's against the law to require patients to reimburse the difference). What's interesting is that my insurance company paid to another entity. So, my MRI was at A, text message said that I owed to B and insurance company paid to C. I guess it's a large group that is incorporated under several names. Oh, and the $600 payment was cashed on Nov 16th.
In any case, I called the number from the text message (what's interesting is that the same number appears as the billing number on the website of the radiology group where my MRI was taken). The guy who picked up the phone asked me for my name and DOB. I told him that I don't know who they are, for all I know it could be as scam, and I could only give him my account number that was also in the text message. He said he needed additional information to verify who I was. Since I was unwilling to give it to him, I told them to send me a physical bill and hung up.
Since their number also appears on the website of the radiology group, I think this is a legit billing service used by many doctors / hospitals> But I don't like how they conduct their business.
In any case, will deal with it after I receive the bill. Meanwhile, replied to their message with "STOP" to stop getting additional messages. - KassieReceived a call from the same place, different number. 1-855-682-8872. Didn't answer it, left a voicemail saying I need to make a payment or else they'll go to a collections agency. I haven't had any imaging done, and when I went to hospital, I was fully covered. So definite scam. Told me to go to eznetinfo.com/srsp. Or ezmed I guess.

- Nannette replies to notstupidI received the same ,with same address, been trying to figure out why I keep getting these because I have insurance that covers everything, thank you this has been a big help.
- eyes kept openAlso received call left message stating my name and outstanding bill will be turned over to collections and to call during business hrs. HA!
Did return call three different times, NOT to my surprise it was ALL automated system. I proceeded to try to talk with someone, anyone needless to say....ALL AUTOMATED ALSO!!!!
Then finally I pushed the Operator, it rang there I was thinking just maybe...mmm.....NO.....HERE WE GO AGAIN....THAT TOO AUTOMATED!!!!
The amount they requested was probably correct, but ALL sshould have been paid. I've got IEHP DUEL CHOICE(medi-medi) therefore ALL should've been paid, it has to be pre-approved and it was. Mon morning I'll try again this time I'll call where I got my MRI done......- Caller: ezmed.com
- jajI got the same kind of call from 800 service, said to call 855-251-1856...said my bill wasn't paid, it was. I spoke directly to the hospital, they didn't know who would have called.

- A LoserI received a letter bill from Health Diagnostics of California LLC, and saying that I own them $25 with denial. Telling me to pay them on their website: ezmedinfo.com/hdc-, or mail them to PO BOX 204139 Dallas, TX!? <-- Why would a California company in Texas!? This is already suspicious enough. They surely love to scam people with people information. I wish somebody could ban this ezmedinfo.com site, and reveal all of their identifications for being scammers like a trash. Especially that letter circled the amount $25 saying "Amount Due!", hey scammers if you are reading this. You made us laugh at your pitiful life. :/ So sad. Their phone numbers: 1-888-685-3910 cannot be found online. :O
