These jokers are not new -- They've just changed their number from 855-657-6617 to 888-732-7055. Same old "scare scam" tactics: Initial call/message comes from the "Warrants & Summons Division" of somewhere, instructing you to call said number back within 48 hours. Once you call back, you are then hit with a barrage of legalese, financial jargon, & court lingo that boils down to you owing money on some phantom loan or mystery debt from several years ago, & charges are pending against you if you don't pay ASAP....Even now, after dealing with these types of a**holes for several years now, it's easy to see how people still fall for it -- As we sit there & listen to them spew load after load of BS, we almost find ourselves believing it, like "Wow maybe we do owe this money!" LoL! The initial call/message is always a very serious & stern-sounding male (usually an African-American) with a very deep & intimidating voice, then once you call back, you will first speak with a basic bottom-level rep who just tries to get you to pay immediately, no questions asked. If that doesn't work, then you are passed on to a mid to upper-level fast-talker who gets your head to spinning with all their double-talk of "statutes of limitations" & "bank fraud" & "pending charges", mixed with bits & pieces of your personal info. They know that once you call back, you've taken the bait of their scam, so the next step is to scare you sh*tless in order to get you to "resolve the matter" by paying them over the phone. Of course, once you turn the tables & start asking too many questions of them, then they usually try to cut the call short by either hanging up on you or by stating that they will "mark the file as a refusal to pay" & "we will see you in court".....DO NOT FALL for any of this crapola.

You can be held in contempt it you are ordered to appear at court, and then don't appear.  But it's not for a debt. It's for not showing up to court when ordered to do so.
