Very interesting. A web search of the number brought me here telling me that it hadn't been reported yet, and then at the bottom of the search page, it was attached to a minneapolis craigslist add that has since been removed. The title is "PT Entry Level Phone Qualifiers," whatever that is. Anyway, they leave no message.

This # called my husband. Woke him from a medication induced sleep. Said they were Midwest Publishers or something like that. Said they were willing to reduce our subscription rate from $49.99/mo to $29.99/mo for 20 mo. We don't have any subscriptions we are paying for. Don't know how they got his #. Had him repeat his name and address. Definitely a scam. Put a block on the card right away. They did say they were in Minneapolis.

Frank Johnson and Eric Anderson called from publishers took another  $79.80 from my credit card.  No idea how they got credit card number but same company called my mom in December and took over $800 from her.

Hopefully both you and she contacted your card issuers, and got reimbursed!

Just received the 20th + call from these people who claim to be Midwest Publishing from Crystal, MN.  They offered to reduce my monthly payment from $59.99/ mo. down to $39.99 on an account that I NEVER opened nor have paid for.  Stupid me gave them credit card number and expiration but did NOT given them 3 digit code on back.  On my way to bank now to cancel card, just in case.  SCAM SCAM SCAM.  Let me repeat SCAM!  They constantly call from an unlisted or unknown number.  I can see how seniors could be lured into their web.  HANG UP on these people.

You actually have an F rating from the Better Business Bureau, and have had almost 100 complaints lodged with the BBB in the past couple years. Doesn't sound like customer satisfaction to me!

those 99 complaints are all resolved. we usually credit back payment to the customer and let them keep three to five years of service that we paid for but they change their mind so we refund. the BBB wanted 400.00 to give us a fresh Grade! we chose to not participate with them as they are a non regulated privately held company that uses an acedemic grading system to make money by compelling people to pay them to raise their grade. The BBB is not what it used to be. being accredited means they pay their "membership fee" to get an A or B..... if you have a D and want an A they can raise your grade for a nominal fee......no way, its been discredited and bbb is becoming obsolete.
