I answered a private number call and was told they were from my county, even got the county correct.  The person on the other end of the line had my old residence address.  Told me to call 888-739-5173 and gave me a reference number to give who ever answers the phone.  The lady told me I would be calling the R& R Group, a law firm here in my county.  Well that's a lie right there.  Any ways, this is the second attempt somebody has tried to scam me.  First number that tried this was 888-693-8242,  they too gave me a reference number.  That one was called Vista Towers.  So beware people!!

A guy named Michael Clark called me from a private number telling me to call another number (1-888-739-5173) about some case# he referenced but the message didnt say what the case# was about. He even called another family memeber of mine leaving the same exact message as if it was a pre-recorded message he made to leave on our phones.

I just got a call from the same people claiming to be lawyers about a bank account I had years ago. Claiming it was for a bounced check and that they were going to proceed to garnish my wages if I didn’t call them back to pay. I can’t find any evidence that they are a legitimate group. It had me worried because they had a lot of my information, including my address, last 4 of my social , and the bank account.

I just had the same thing happen to me. The girl I spoke with could only give me my first and last name, although she gave me my maiden name. I have been married for almost 5 years. Then she gave me an address where they tried to deliver court documents. An address I haven't lived at in 6 years, but my brother lives there and his wife is a stay at home mom. No one has went to that address and tried to deliver documents.

I received a call from a lady who said her name was Linda Evans. The company she said she is with is called Central Processing. She told me that Autauga County was unable to deliver my documents. And gave me the 888 number to call which she said went to R & R Firm.

Some jack [***] called me saying his name was David price and that I needed to call with the reference number he gave me at 888 739-5173 number Saying I had an overdraft from the Wells Fargo account seven years ago. They was able to list previous addresses of mine my last four of my SS Date of birth and my new job I have. They said they were going to deliver a letter to my house and they were going to garnish my wages. In California statute limitations runs out in four years obviously this is a BS scam. Even if I owned an overdraft fee somebody would need to show me proof that this actually happened before I give them dime.

Just received a call from a woman named "Jessica" claiming to have court documents I needed to sign. I asked where she was calling from and her response was vague. I then asked where these documents were coming from, she responded only with "From Central Processing"..She continued to deflect any additional questions and I stated there was absolutely no reason why any court "I'm waiting for my final disability approval" would not have my information for any legal documents of any kind. I then simply stated "I'm sorry, but I don't believe what you're saying" and hung up..She then called back 15 seconds later and continued to express the innocence of her call and willing to give me a number and case file to call and ask about. Of course, the number being 888-739-5173 since the original caller was calling from a blocked number.

Kept getting calls from this phone number. Finally called it. they gave me a doc number and claimed they were legal representatives of Wells Fargo. Spoke to 3 different people. First was a Cindy, nobody knew her, they a Michael Rivera and finaly a Tom Galvani. Michael gave me a total owed different from Tom. Wanted it paid like today. Tried to pay 1/2 of payment, could not be processed. Kept making too many mistakes as they tried to process my payment. No they are giving me until tomorrow to pay 1/2 of payment but I need to invest in a debit card and add the payment first.
