- Marie replies to GraceSame thing happened to me just now. They were asking me to confirm my cc #
- Mark replies to GraceYep. My GF got a text from them with the number reading 850-378-6161, but they called from the 888-751-9000 number. The guy on the phone sounded professional, but they wanted her to transfer money into her Apple Card account. We went to the local TD branch and verified it was a scam.
- Almost got me but I got his emailCalled me saying he was from Chase Bank and said there were pending unauthorized transactions that I didn't authorize and would need my help to override them. Transferred me to another person even music on hold playing. Sounded pretty legit but got really fishy when they asked if any 3rd party money apps were also connected to my bank. I stupidly said yes and they attempted to try to override the transactions step-by-step by initiating a money request that they said will be given back to my account during the override. My spidey senses were tingling like crazy and I just hung up. They immediately tried to call again 3 more time before giving up. The scammer's Paypal name is Alex Rodriguez and his email is alex389793@gmail.com if yall wanna spam his emails and piss him off.

- M KesslerThis is a legitimate TD Bank Customer service number - BUT BEWARE - it is being spoofed. They say they are TD - they reported some fraudulent activity in my area (gave city name), and even verified my address. I was insistant that I do not bank with TD, and his response was....Oh, so never mind then and hung up. CRIMINALS!
