I got a call from a man from this same number.  They said that my husband owed an amount to Best Buy, which we don't have an account with.  My husband has a very common name (first/last) and they asked me to verify whether or not an address he dictated was ours.  It wasn't and I told him that.  Then he asked me to give out my husband's last 4 digits of his social security number, which I thought was very suspicious and I told them that I was not going to give out that kind of information.  He got very rude to me and said that it would not threaten my husband's identity security.  He said that people lie to him all the time and I had to prove to him that my husband was not the correct one that he was looking for.  I again refused and told him a few words of my own about how rude he was and maybe he would get more information from people if he was nicer and then hung up on it.  What really concerns me is that he asked for the last four digits of a social security number.  Just beware of this number and never give out that kind of info.  Good luck:)

This company (PRI) calls several times a week.  They are rude and unresponsive. We have told them multiple times that they are not to call us and they still do.   Usually when we call the number left on the phone we can not get through.  We have no bad debts so I doubt they have the right to call over and over if we tell them not to call.  The frustrating thing is they refuse to say why they are calling except to say it is just a wrong number and wish us luck in trying to report them and yet - they call again - and again - and again.  I can't believe the FCC allows that kind of negligence.

This person by the name "Jay" is threatening and harrassing me. He pulled my credit while on the phone with me and then told me that he will put a lien against my house! Can they threaten you?

Yes, I received a call this morning from 888-773-8452 and when I answered they hung up on me.  I thought it might be a call I was waiting for so I answered it and when they didn't answer me, I called the number back and I immediately got a recording identifying them as PRI and it said "your call is important to us please wait for the next representative," but I hung up.  I thought  it was a scam to get people's cell numbers and when you answer they know it's a legitimate number, but after reading these other complaints it's not just cell phones.  A word of advice never give your work phone number to anyone they don't need it and in the long run you will regret it.  I always give me cell number because that call will only come to me and no one else gets involved.  You either take the call or let it go to voice mail, eventually they will stop calling.

I keep getting calls from a girl name Nicole. When they first started calling they called my home, then it started on the cell and now it's all day on my job. I tried telling her I can loose my job for this and she said she got the approval to do it. It's [***]! I owe a credit card from 2004. I have lost my job and filed bankbrupt since then and she told me that is not her problem. I was in an head on accident in January and was out of work for a while and then found out I was pregnant. Nicole said that is not a reason for me not to pay my bill. Well if you don't have the money you don't have the money. SHe said she was filing suit, so I told her to do what she has to and she still calls me.  Their bosses need to come one here and read what we all writing because we can turn around and sue them for harrasment.

This PRI company keeps calling my work.  #1 this is how I earn my living, #2 send me a damn letter.  The person that calls is always very rude and threatening saying things like "Have you every had your wages garnished?" and "We will call you wherever you are regardless of if it is your job."

I'm very upset with this company, whoever they are

GET REAL!! Do you expect us to believe such crap!!!!!  You are probably from PRI and wrote that diatribe yourselves.  If they were a legitimate company you would be able to call them back and speak to a person.  I am still hitting delete.  Again, they can call until the next blue moon.  Automated, or not, the calls do cost them.  So I say let them waste their money. I owe no outstanding debt and refuse to be intimidated by phone calls from the scum of the earth.  They are just another form of bottom feeder.

Think about it -- you are giving him the exact reaction he wants.  He wants you all emotional, because emotional people blabb more than they should.  All this does is give him information about you.  Who would do his job except the bottom feeding scum he is.  I wouldn't waste my blood pressure level on him.  These bottom feeders get off on getting you upset.  Quit picking up the phone.  Let them waste there money making these calls - even if it is only automated -- it still costs them money.

Wrong!!!!!  We verify all of your information via CRB's and other search tools.  You will find out one day when a sherrif comes knocking at your door with court papers.  It's just a matter of time before you have a judgement slapped on you, paying our attorney fees and court costs.  So go on try and do it, you'll pay one way or the other.

Wrong again!!!!!  You people need to stick to your regular jobs and quit trying to tell us how to do ours.  Makes tons of sense when you can't pay a 300 dollar debt you made, but you can hire an attorney.

We were getting the same call but from multiple toll free number, each time though it was PRI.  We weren't even the person they were looking for and initially refused to remove our number.  When I called back, they told ME to stop harrassing THEM and hung up.  I called back and finally connected to a supervisor who also hung up on me.  They told me I needed to find something better to do on a Saturday morning than play on a telephone.

I receive about 2-3 calls per day from this company at my place of employment, well, after some research, the best way to get them to stop calling is to file a complaint with the FTC, the BBB and send a Cease and Desist letter. The company is PRI. For more information on how to stop debt collectors from harrassing you, go to www.about.com or look up the information on the FTC website. Also, file a complaint with your State Attorney General. They also use the toll free 888-466-4862.

They call my job everyday and get real nasty with the staff members that answer the phone.  They also force people to give them my personal numbers to reach me other than the work number.  They also lie and state that it is an emergency that they talk with me, they also hang up on staff members her.

Recorded caller is asking for Chow Chin or Kyle Chin on my cell phone.  I might not think much of it except for the fact that on Tuesday I got a piece of mail addressed to Chow Chin at my address!!!!!!   I gave it back to the Postal Worker so can't say the sender for sure but it was from a bank- US Bank I think.
