received e-mail from benson myers wanting to purchase a film processor
gave this number as his business phone number, company name: benson medicals suppliers int. address he gave was 41 seth den rd, oxford, ct 06478, BOGUS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I received the exact same email on 6/11/09. I decided to Google the phone number because I was already suspicious of the email.  The fraud emails that we receive for different products all seem to follow a similar format and they always turn out the same... bogus addresses, bogus names, bogus phone numbers, and I'm sure they are trying to use stolen credit cards too.  So keep an eye out for emails that follow this format.  I've been getting them for years and they all turn out the same.

We can't confirm authenticity of this, but will not do business with them.

This has been going on for years. Don't ship anything to an address you cannot verify. They are trans-shipping to Africa (primarily Nigeria).

Like I mentioned earlier, the format is very similar throughout the different requests. They want to use their courier, they want to know what kind of credit cards you accept for payment, they always say "Regards" at the end, their english/grammar is usually a little rough around the edges, etc. After getting so many through our online business, I've learned to just ignore anything like this.

Anyone figure out who this is or why he is approaching companies in this fashion?

We have received same e-mail as FBI listed. Ran credit cards and they were declined. He has sent me 6 different card numbers. What can we do to catch these people.I did some research and he is not authorized to use these credit cards. If you put them thru without the address the will give you an authorization.If you notice all the credit card numbers are the same but the last 3 numbers.Pleaseletmeknow what you have come up with.
