"Who Does Number Two Work For?!?!?!?!"

They have been calling this phone  number for Jeffrey marchon for years all the collection agencies and now this new one 888-820-0968.  Nco and the like usually  can find what idiot is calling so I can send cease and desist letter to this new one but unsuccessful. Can anyone let me know who this is? Really would like to collect the 1,500 for this dude. Am sick and tired of hearing this jerks name.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

Got a call from them.. I love how the skirt the FDCPA by leaving a message stating who they are and that they are collecting a debt. "Protecting" themselves by stating if it is not you who they are calling for then delete message. I use to work for a collection agency back in the day and we were taught NEVER disclose to anyone that it was in reference to a debt unless you are actually talking to the debtor.

Got a letter and have no idea what they are referring to or what the debt they are wanting money is for.

12/1 @ 12:36pm received a robo call stating they were NorthStar looking for someone by the name of Gregory and to call back and ask for Nicholas Hinman at 888-220-0968. The automated call did not state what type of company they were, but said "regarding an important business matter" and then followed up saying "this is not a solicitation". I have received dozens of calls from this number, but this is the first time I actually answered.

IS THIS A LEGIT COMPANY.  NEVER HEARD OF THEM

Call twice a day and I have blocked this number.

Call from a bottom feeder debt collector for an unknown person, asked for my name and social. never heard of this company or the person they were calling for. They must be crazy if they think there getting any information.

Harassment daily from this company. They ask for someone I do not know. Blocked number and their calls still come through.

They have called and left messages twice but never once mentioning who they are trying to "locate". We are pretty sure it's for my deadbeat brother inlaw and his wife.  But they never state this.  Annoying.

I just received a call 5:21PM today from a Woman who asked for me by my entire real name. After I said yes this is me, she hung up the phone. I not call back but went to block it from my cell phone.

I don’t know why I’m getting these calls all of a sudden but they didn’t leave a voice message and have called numerous time this month of September. I don’t answer unrecognized numbers and this is probably a spam / scam / robo call.

Just got a call from this number today and they asked if this we me and I said yes and they said they was collecting a debt from an Allied Co. I have no accounts with this company what so ever. Then she proceeds to ask me for my last 4 digits of my social. I told her I wasn’t giving that information over the phone and she said she was terminating the call.

Just received a call from this number and I let it ring to VM. They left a voicemail saying they were with North Star Collections or whatever and they were collecting a debt.

Definitely not calling them back or ever picking up a call. S C A M
