Received a few calls from this number. Didn't dial it back yet. They don't leave messages.

Received call, didn't answer.  We also just ordered a couch through Macy's though.

It's Macy's Delivery (automated message) stating your delivery status.  Mine's confirmed, no further action needed.

Have rcvd several , today finally stating delivery for THrusday and they will call to reconfirm..Problem being, have NOT ordered  ANYTHING from Macy's, have NO account with them either. Evidently wrong number , but am NOT going to chase them t "Explain" further at this point either !!

I received many, many calls from 888-822-6229 all morning today. Of course no-name appeared omn my caller ID. Just this telephone number (888-822-6229). So I went where I always go when this happens and thats right here. I see several posts citing the number as Macy's home delivery.

It just so happens that I recently ordered some furniture from Macys. It must be them confirming delivery date and time. I better answer the phone.

I received several calls from this number but, I did not answer.  I ordered mattress from Macy and gave my home phone number as a second number and my cell as a first but, they never called my cell.  Since they were not able to contact me they did not make the delivery on the date as I was previously told.

He said that my order will be shipped today ! First - I didn't Order anything from Macy's and Never will !

It was Macy's calling to confirm a scheduled delivery. I answered and they had a recorded message, after which they stopped calling.

Bunch of garble on the call, unintelligible speech but I did order a table from Macy's.  I'm assuming it was them.

Just got a call. It was Macy's confirming delivery of my couch this week.

They have called three times today, finally I called back and its Macys.  But they dont leave a message its very frustrating, We dont pick up the phone because we have been receiving many fraudulent phone calls lately.

Caller ID said "Toll Free Calle," so the first time, I did not answer, as I never do for such things.

Then I looked up the number, came here (bless the people who maintain this site), and learned that it was likely a call from Macy's to confirm a delivery.  I am indeed expecting something from Macy's, so the second time they called, I did answer.

It was a recording, asking me to press 1 to confirm that I am who I am, and saying there will be another call the day before delivery to announce a 2-hour window in which to expect it.

This is fine, but Macy's is a large sophisticated company, and should make sure its calls go out with a caller ID saying Macy's, rather than "Toll Free Calle."
