Just received a call from these people claiming it was a personal matter.  Asked for last four digits of my SS# and my name and zip code. Got suspicious because I looked up number on internet and it says Macy's.  I called Macy's the other day and asked if they called me.  They did not even though I have an account with them. Told these people to call my local police dept. since my SS# was stolen 2 years ago and that I would give them the case number.  They didn't want to do that and they told me that they would continue calling. I told them if they harassed me that I would report it to my service provider (AT&T) and get law enforcement involved. They are either a debt collector (of which I owe nothing) or scamers  spoofing Macy's number                                                        S.H.

I sooo love this website.  I just had a call from this number and I never answer unless expecting  a random call.  I wasn't, but I do have a delivery coming this weekend from Macy's so that is probably it.

Macy's Furniture delivery automated call.  Missed the call but noticed later (after I came here wondering who the # was) I did get a message from them to remind me of my upcoming furniture delivery - and yes I was expecting a delivery.

I called back for some reason. They confirmed my name and phone number(which they already had). Then they politely asked that I confirm who I am by giving them my birth date or last four of my social, or a promo code if I had one.(they said I'd know why they are calling if I had a code) I politely declined and they said o.k. thanks and goodbye. Strange.

It's  Macy's calling with delivery confirmation on my order.

Yes, this is an automated call from Macy's about a delivery telling you the approximate time and that the driver will call a half hour before they expect to arrive.  If you did not order something, it means that Macy's got or somebody gave an incorrect number and may miss their delivery.  It is not a scam.

Called several times with messages about scheduling furniture delivery.  I have called them twice and explained they have the wrong number - calls stop for about a week then start again.

It was definitely Macy's Furniture delivery. This one was a pre-recorded message calling to remind me that I have a delivery in three days. It said I'll get another call the day before my delivery to give me a two-hour delivery window.

It's Macy's about a pending delivery (we just ordered a mattress) it's legitimate.

This is a scam to find out when you are away from home so thief's can steal from u. If this is Macy then that would be first result in Google search not 800notes.

This person has called every day sometimes twice a day for the past month.  Yesterday he finally left an undecipherable message - something to do with our computers being hacked and needing repairs.  Really??  After calling again today, it is someone with a Pakistan accent or Indian but talks as if he has marbles in his mouth!  Whoever he is YOU ARE ANNOYING AND MY COMPUTERS ARE WORKING FINE!!!! LEAVE PEOPLE ALONE!  Do you really think people are so stupid to believe you!!!

MACY's FURNITURE DELIVERY to set up a delivery time - yes, I ordered furniture.

I was given this number by a live chat through macy's because I was told to talk to the furniture department. When I called, it asked me to complete a survey. The survey sounded like scam I've heard before--telling me I've won a cruise and I just have to pay $60 port fees. I obviously declined. It then played a recording for an insurance policy, when I didn't bite, I was hung up on. I highly doubt this is a legit program that macy's approved. IF they did, shame on them.
