Received a call, final notice to prevent legal action taken against me. To prevent, call immediately. No business name, possible account name etc- only to call number. I have a couple reverse phone lookup accounts, cannot find it anywhere. I get many scam calls ever since I was scammed after my husband died several years ago and and I was terrified into making payments. Not happening again, hadn’t in a very long time.

Called using a "Hidden Number" but when they left a voicemail it showed 888-827-2101 as their number. They are a process server whose message was intended for someone specific but the name listed wasn't mine and claimed this was a "Final Notice" to contact them and to call this number back.

Called and it said unknown number yet they left the 888827210. One phone number and to call them back. You call back you get a fast busy. That’s not a legitimate number.

Same experience as all no business name but threat of legal action. This is a ploy used by debt collectors. They hire a outside firm that can leave message to get you to acknowledge and call the debt collectors

No process server will ever call or threaten you, EVER. This is illegal to threaten to take an action against a consumer that you do not follow through with. Report them to the Attorney General of your state and their state, the CFPB and the FTC.

Same experience.  I answered the call, but somehow it still went to my voicemail and a message was left stating "This is a final notice: and I needed to call them back.  Total Scam.  A real company would have allowed me to answer the call, and they would identify who they are in the message.  Don't fall for it.

the same scamming peeps call with the same [***]... what i love most is that they keep asking me to meet them within 2 hours... so i tell them the address I will be at in that 2 hours... one address is my closest police sub-station and the other is the FBI office, which of course I don't tell them.  Naturally they keep me on the line even thought i try to rush them to agreeing to meet, they look up the addresses and say no that is too far or some [***].  its fun

I have read a lot of the comments regarding his phone number. I’m reporting this number as well. The number showed up as unknown, and the person on my voicemail was harassing and threatening me.

These people keep calling me over something, process server related. If this is a debt collector, I'd like to find out who it is and squash them like a bug. I just finished paying all my delinquent debt completely off last year.
