- Caller: Police Officers' Association
- Call type: Non-profit organization
- MickThis is a for-profit group whose solicitors pocket most of the money as commission for the money they bring in. He said his name was Eddie, too. Funny how "Eddie" could be calling everyone at the same time. I believe it's a robo caller programmed to respond to certain questions.
- Caller: Fake Police Organization
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- MomThis loser "Eddie" calls repeatedly using different numbers. I usually ignore unfamiliar numbers but seeing it registers as an 800 number variant I foolishly thought it could be a legitimate call. Police organizations should pursue this as "Eddie" is making valid donation solicitations suspect because of his unethical behavior. Stp this fool from harassing me and others.

- Caller: Ed
- YmzyCID "800 SERVICE", no message left.
- BobI got a call from 888-827-6592 on October 18, 2019 at 11:10 am. The caller did not leave a message even though my answering machine was on. My caller ID said, "Toll Free Call."
Don't legitimate companies use their corporate names for their caller ID? I would think so, so they can get their customers to answer their phones.
Have a good day everyone and don't answer the phone. - AnonymousThis is actually harassment at this point, as this fake association has been blocked on numerous occasions, and continues to call back from various non-working numbers.

- Jean Barley replies to AnonymWhen he said this is Eddy, I said sure you are and hung up on him.
- Joe (NH)Caller ID showed TOLL FREE CALL. Don't know who it was. Possibly a robocall. My landline is protected by a call blocker unit. They didn't follow the instructions from my call blocker so it blocked the call automatically.
- Caller: TOLL FREE CALL

- Not Buying ItAutodialer, then pause for person or machine to pick up the phone, then "Eddy" soliciting for some police charity. I asked why he was calling anonymously; rather than answer he replied "OK, goodbye!. I was hoping to enlighten him on what actual law enforcement agencies tell the public about donating to solicitors who call anonymously from spoofed phone numbers; but I never got a chance. Almost an hour later another call from nearly identical number, only last digit changed (888-827-6595). Another fraudster calling on behalf of some breast cancer charity. "She" hung up rather than answer any questions. I tend to attribute that sort of behavior to bad parenting...or programing.

- CarieI mistakenly answered the phone as I was expecting a call, I normally wait for answering machine to pick up. The caller didn't respond immediately to my hello, then it said,"hello, this is Eddie calling from the police support fund......" I began to get suspicious, but still was transferred over to a female who asked for my address to verify the address they had to send me a response envelop. I told her that I'd do my research before donating anything. Then, I looked online to find that this is most likely scam, as that's how it felt. I won't be sending $ nor will I answer these calls again.
- Caller: Eddie, Police Support Fund
