Claims to be some attorney saying bill wasn't paid. Never been in said town

This number called house phone but no one picked up and caller left no message.  Time to block.  Sounds like these folks making the rounds.

call from 800 Servi , left no message.

Don't know who it was.  Possibly a robocall. My landline is protected by a call blocker unit. They didn't follow the instructions from my call blocker so it blocked the call automatically.

Someone at this number called my landline phone. The Caller ID read TOLL FREE CALL. It should never be possible to call from a toll-free area code, so I didn't answer.

I got a call from 888-827-6594 on October 11, 2019 at 10:36 am.  The caller did not leave a message even though my answering machine was on.  My caller ID said, "Toll Free Call," like that is going to fool someone into answering their phone.

Two other websites flagged this number as a robo caller.

I received two missed calls from 888-827-6594. I called back using a google number, and it sounded like a pre-recording answered call saying "Hello, my name is John Alexander how are you doing?" Then it asks for a donation for a firefighters foundation. However, this is all a robotic response and never once do you speak with someone. Seems like fraud.

Caller ID said TOLL FREE CALL, I answered, a voice (sounded while male, possibly recorded) said "Hello, this is John", I said he'd interrupted me and I don't know anyone named John except someone who doesn't sound like him, and he hung up, so I don't know what it was about.

One more from "John" the Robot wanting donations "to support legislation that provides financial assistance to the families of firefighters, paramedics and rescue personal killed in the line of duty as well as funding to purchase safety gear and rescue equipment."  They will send donation envelopes in hopes that gullible people will send them some money.  When I asked how the funds would be distributed to the families there was a long pause and then I suggested that he was, in fact, a robot.  He said there was a live person there, but couldn't produce one and then said, "Adding you to the no-call list.  Goodbye."  Perhaps they really do have a no-call list to keep from wasting their robot's time as well as mine.

Robo call wanted donation for fire fighters.  Also 888-827-6595 wanted donations for breast cancer.  Wow some people just don't want to work for a living.
