I used to get calls from them about once a week. Now it's every day!

I used to get a Cal from different 1800 number and restricted that number and now they are calling from 888 832 0241 , i just got my new number just few months and i dont know who gave my number to them

I don't know if this is really a scam or not. They claim to be Wal-Mart's lawyers. I have no idea where they get numbers from though. If you have no involvement with Wal-Mart, just ignore them. If you do, it may be worth looking in to.

Yes, this is Walmarts Lawyers. Bennett Law Offices. Usually if you shoplift from Walmart the lawyers will contact you in a few days to tell you how much you owe them for the legal fees. And if you pay it the case is usually dropped. So if you get a call from them and you shoplifted from Walmart its probably a good idea to call them!

Got calls from this number repeatedly it's a law office, which had two different individuals using my number as a contact number for them. I have no clue who these folks were, or are. They removed my number from their call list. HOpe this helps someone else!

Just a recorded message, obviously a scam. "Lawyers," baloney! They just want you to send money.

This recorded message calls on a regular basis-- i have recently gotten a new phone number, and it only started after that.  It is incredibly irritating!

I received a phone message, saying urgent call this number. I called they said they were collecting a charge from walmart and wanted me to pay on the spot with a credit card. I asked why nothing had been mailed to me and they had the wrong address. They refused to send me a bill and argued with me to pay immediately. They kept insisting on having a credit card, I was suspicious and hung up on them. They called me back a few times that same hour and we told them to stop harassing and send us a bill. We have not received a bill yet.

This number will tell me that this is not e telemarketing call. I need to call Bennett Law regarding and important business transaction. They give me a reference number. I haven't called back but I am going to report this number as soon as possible. It calls every day!

I got my new phone two days ago, and I've had two days of this silly call. (Same as above) It's Bennett Law offices and I need to call them back.  The "Do Not Call Registry" says I have to have my number registered for 31 days before i can report anyone.  This call will drive me crazy.  I'm not sure if I should call them back and complain or not. Has anyone had any luck stopping them?

Yeah these douches have been calling me for months at least 2 times a day.

I see people say Wal-Mart. I don't even shop at Wal-mart let along have the need to steal from them.

So as of now they have made the inet idgaf list and are going the be ddos'ed until i feel the need to stop. If they feel they can call and harrass me at a unlisted/private number. I will packet there servers till the end of [***] time.

Based on what i see on this website mentioned above they use a dialer system to do this illegal action they do.

I didn't have my voicemail password at work because I don't usually get phone calls, finally set it up, and stupid company has been calling my work phone for the past year and a half... Absolutely ridiculous!

i will be honest, i did shop lift from walmart, not they call me all the time, i settled the legal action in court as an SIS(it's all worked off) 2 YEARS AGO ! they have all my information(which is off my record), but when i ask what they want they say they need to speak to by legal guardian,i am 19, i was prosecuted as an adult,2 YEARS ago...if this is legitimate,i don't know, but if it is they are very bad at their jobs.

they call all the timeclaiming to be a law office.  I do not know if they are a real law office or a scam.  my grandson stole from walmart and although i did not condone his actions i do not appreciate the harrassing phone calls.  he plead guilty and is making payments through the court. isn't that all there is?  I do not know why these people want additional money.  you would think that if it was real....they would send a notice of collection or monies owed in the mail.  all there have been is harrassing phone calls.  so I should write out a check for him and send it to whom and why?  any scammer could ask for money on the phone.  why should I fall for this?  I told them I would sue them if they called my number one more time.  they said they would take us off the list and send a letter.  we will see.  
i just don't understand.  never been through this before.  of course I never had anyone in the house that stoled anything before either but this cannot be legal.  it does not seem logical to call someone and expect them to send you money.

Yes the "Bennetts" say they are colletors for Walmart.  They are asking me for $200 and yet the problem isn't over.  I stupidly forgot about a $3.29 item in my basket that didn't rung up.....never stolen a thing in my life!!  I'm still confused why Walmart didn't let me pay for it right then and there....come on $3.29?!?!?  Called the cops too.....guess a case of over zealous "mall cops". I'll take care of the stupid Class C ticket w/a real attny and tell them to go fly a kite!  AND after all that drama, they let me go without paying for the product again!! Unbelievable!

HARRASSING!  Also a shoplifting issue.  Have already spoke to them about payments and have sent 1st one. Still call every day, twice a day, and say they can until it is paid. At what point is this illegal? Have lost any respect I had left for Walmart.  They have hired absolute idiots.  Probably paying them $3.00 per hour.

My daughter was picked up for shoplifting, she handed her items to the security officer. The total was $27.00, she paid that at the store. Went to court, had to pay court cost, a program fee(first offence program), and a class fee, along with an extra $100.00 for being stopped! She is also 18, so she is treated as an adult. This Bennett Law Office calls at least 4 times per day.She owes nothing to Wal Mart at this point & if she does they can send a letter, which they are refusing to do. No wonder Wal Mart makes so much money, they scam people out of it!!!

So I did steal from Wal-Mart a while ago, but so did my cousin. She has a prepaid phone & doesn't get these calls while me, I have a bill phone & get these annoying calls almost twice a day. I doubt this really has anything to do with Wal-Mart forcing me to pay them back for stealing because I think my cousin would be getting the calls also. So this all is pissing me off because if I don't answer then they leave me a message & my mail-box is full of it. Or I'll be in class & forced to answer -.- (I'm only 15). Anywayssss! Get them off my phone, it's annoying.
