Same message, they actually called my brother and asked for me. I had this same thing happen in California when I lived there. It's certified BS. Nothing ever happened. They get a hold of your name and do a little footwork to make it seem real.

My husband spoke w/ them while i wasn't here. They brought up a medical debt from 2002 and threatened to garnish wages file for default and levy our bank accounts. They have purchased "old" debts in hopes of activating old debts by consumer agreeing to make payments!! DO NOT AGREE TO ANYTHING These are Time Barred debt collectors predatory and vicious. I have filed a complaint with the Washington State attorney General IF they serve you with court GO and tell the judge this is a time barred debt..the judge will laugh them out. If you don't go however it is possible for them to get a "default" judgement. They are vicious predatory and try to work on people that don't have common sense. My husband had an extreme anxiety attack as he is not knowledgeable in areas like this.  They call themselves KEA Legal Services

they called my cell phone and left the same exact message.  I called the 888 number and the confirmed my cell phone number but said it was for my sister Donna.  I told them that they had the wrong number and they said they would take me off their call list.  I contacted my sister and she confirmed by calling them that this is a scam.  They have been really busy this month I see with all the people getting calls from them.

I just called them and I'm freaking out! The guy knew my social, my full name, my date of birth and several past addresses. He said he was the mediator for Aaron's and that they are suing me for something that happened back in 2013. The situation was I had gotten a big screen TV and a Wii system from Aaron's in Cocoa Florida. I was paying on it for several months when my live-in boyfriend (at the time) became extremely abusive. I had to leave Florida suddenly and move back home to Maryland. The night before I left, and the morning that I left, I called Aaron's and told them to come pick up the television because he was going to throw it in Banana River. Sure enough, that night apparently, so my ex says... "it was stolen out of our condo." Now, at the time he had become friends with a couple that was pretty heavy into drugs, and I am 99% sure that it was all a big lie and he sold it for drug money. I have talked to Aaron's and told them about this many times. One day the guy became belligerent towards me and said he was going to call all the pawn shops... which I told them to do that the 1st time I heard about it. How did they get all that information? I told the guy they couldn't get blood out of a turnip When he said they were suing me for over $10,000. I can certainly see how someone would fall for this and agree to pay them. It's scary actually!

    Another Target
call came from 310-361-0482 (caller ID says California) “This is not a solicitation call please listen to this message entirely ________ currently a motion being filed to spend all bank accounts and tax returns _______ your name and Social Security number to review all immediate rights and ___________ _____ _______ proceedings please contact our office at 888-835-1324 again that is 888-835-1324 or you may press one to speak to a case manager…” I know this is a scam because I have no delinquent debts, no warrants, no pending criminal charges, no convictions, no outstanding judgments, no outstanding obligations such as child support... in other words, there is no legal basis for anyone to attach my property. This is a scam. This is the fourth scam contact I"ve had today. The other three were offshore companies posing as job recruiters. When is FCC going to do something effective about the proliferation of telephone scams?
