I got a phone call today from Derrick Lane, who stated he was with the Process Server's Office.  He stated that he worked for PDI Process Services and that PF law group was scheduling to serve me with a summons by Sheriff on Thursday, September 29th between 9-3.  He said that they are third party process servers, but when I asked who was serving the summons, he just kept telling me to call them.  By the way, the phone number that called me was blocked.  I will call the number and see what it going on.

This is a debt collection agency, saying that they are suing in a civil law suit under a breech of contract with a credit card company HSBC is the company I was told.  I have been actively fighting this company for years and will continue to at this time.  They offered me a reduction, on $1500.  This is weird when the card had a $300 line and that was spent by the company on a "trip" I never went on and was "reimbursed" with $300 in gas cards that could only be used in $10 increments.  I never used the vouchers or the card, or the "trip".  I will see them in court if and when they serve me.

just received a message from a Shawn stating that he was from a process servers office and that I needed to reply within 24hrs to the legal dept that was handeling this dept or they would send out a sheriff with a summons.  I have no clue what this could be for. They called from a blocked #,  that doesnt seem very professional to me.  I never answer blocked #'s on my cell!!  Has anybody actually been served with a summons?

Got a message from "Rhonda Stewart" from "Pristine Financial Group" saying to call this number because a sc100 had been filed with the court clerk. Did not say which court or even what state.  When I called this number that she left, I got a man on the phone who refused to give me his name and hung up on me when I told him I would not pay $1086 over the phone without details about the "debt".  He appeared to have my credit report in front of him and got very agitated when I called him out on the shakedown and scam attempt.  DON'T BE FOOLED!!  NEVER give your financial information over the phone without checking the facts!!

I have called these people 5 times today and tryed to get info out of everyone of them. after the third call they started transfering me to their " legal" deparment. hopefully after doing this they will wise up and stop calling as much and going back to what "D" had said they had a 1750 judgement aginst me but were prepaired to lower it to 600 if i payed today. i asked if i could get the company i directly owe and they told me they could not give me that info that i would have to do this through them only. i also brought up that i had been hung un on when i tryed to ask for info and that people were falsifying info about me having a court summons and that the sherrif was going to come hand it to me personally. if you play hardball with these people and let them know that what they are doing is illegal then they will most of the time leave you alone. best of luck to anyone who has to deal with these people.

Had a miss call from a weird number. They left a message. "Daniel" saying I was being summoned to court on a civil complaint but did not disclose the date. Left this number and a reference number. Disclosed my home address on the message and stated that my emergency contact was also contacted, my husband. But he had not been contacted. This has never happened so I'm not sure I should even try to figure out if it's real or what.

Hey I had the same thing that happened to me. I called the number and they was trying to settle a debt. I also called the Fair Trade Commision and said it was illegal and I also confirm with the sheriff office if I have a summon and she said to not fall for it an no I didn't have anything. I then contacted the NC attorne general and she also said it is a fraud and to file complain. I did that. I was wanted to know if on Sept. 29 did you get serve the papers? or what happened? Let me know because this is very scary because they also called my family.

Got a call from an Nick Ashley at PDI Server AT MY WORK- saying he was a service data collector and that I needed to call 888.863.5719 with a case number he provided. So I called and talked to a guy named Andrew who says he is with the PGI legal department. Something about a law suit with HSBC Mastercard.  I am pretty sure this is a scam. Double check your credit reports to make sure anything you've taken care of is off! I have found these companies sell settled debts back and forth to each other just to try and get more money. I have also been told that they will DO ANYTHING to scare you out of money! Don't fall for it - A company that has someone else call you to have you call another number is sketchy and they are probably in the same room. Don't give out ANY personal information!

Got a message on my general mailbox at WORK. really embarrassing. Spoke with an attorney - he said that this is a normal scam thats going around and that I should block the number. Sucks though, cant block the number at my work. Sending a letter to them with cease and desist as well. Already filed complaints with FTC & attorney gen in NC. This is shameless! The attorney said it is against the law for them to pretend to be a law related position.

I got a similar message that documents were being sent to me and when I called and refused to give my birth date (after they read my entire social security # out loud) they hung up on me.  I told him I was not giving him any info since he obviously had all the information he needed.  What scum!

Call my employer that they had papers to serve.  They had been unable to reach me, even though I've lived at the same address for 11 years with the same phone number.

Got a call from this place on my work # also and they verified my name and address.  I'm sure it's a debt but I don't care, they have no business leaving messages on my work # disclosing my address.  They said they had some sort of formal complaint on me.  Whatever...a debt is a debt is a debt.  I can't pay it and that's that.

Same stuff--initially the guy calling (from private number) asked for my supervisor/manager to ask for policy regarding serving me.  I didn't give him any information of course, but he said there is a lawsuit against me.
