- d| 1 replyI received a phone call from 888-863-5719 they called my employer stating that I was being sued in civil court. When I called the number back they had my name wrong so I told the guy (who was very rude) that wasn't my correct name, I then asked him what was this pertaining he wanted to know my name again, I told him you called me he then told me not to get loud with him. I asked him if I could speak to his supervisor he informed me he was the supervisor and hung up on me
- Caller: they wouldn't reveal there name
- Mary A ScottMy Office recieved a call fron this number saying she was a process server and wanted to give me information to call this number about a pending court case. When asked how to contact her back; she said that she didnot have the information about the case and I needed to call the number mentioned above. She said her name was Danielle Clark who I never heard of.
- smdthese people have issues, you shouldn't have to resort to threatening people with civil suits just to get a few dollars. Most of the time they don't even have the right person.
- GuestThese calls are a scam. This is just one number of many for Pristine Financial Group which is not a real debt collecting agency. See these other complaints : https://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-888-350-5995

- anonymous replies to kerrySummonses are either delivered by process servers or though certified mail with return receipt (these are part of "court costs"). They are not left on your answering machine.
- anonymous replies to VisothLegit process servers *DO NOT* call up their targets because their targets can leave town! This is likely AN EXTORTION SCAM to scare you into paying extortion money to them for a fake crime. You can call up your local court and ask if there are any cases pending against you (there will be NONE). Don't pay them any money. They are criminals.
- j replies to LI had a few of these calls and never paid a dime but i still never had any sheriff come to my door yet for 3 years now they been saying that bull crap stuff so its all a scam. so i wouldnt send any money to them or anybody stating that they work for the companies, my suggesting is to call the company that u owe and asked them which debt agency has ur file.

- Ren replies to kerryI just got a call today from a Joe Lopez on my vm, he threat me that I had lawsuit had been filed with my name attach to it. I called back a told I google their number and told the person I talk to I know that this is a big scam
- kmcReceived a message on my answering machine stating that if I didn't respond in 24hrs I would be served with papers. I ended up speaking to I Alexander Moss who was extremely rude. He stated that I owed 2000.00 from a wellsfargo acct. This is far from the truth as the account was closed due to unauthorized activity back in 2007! As I began to ask Alexander questions, he began to get more irriated and stated that he was in control of the phone call. After he figured out that I was not going to stop asking questions, he hung up on me. When I contacted wellsfargo, they verified that the call sounded suspicious and not to give out any information. I contacted Alexander back and told him that I verified what he was saying to wellsfargo as well as I contacted my local senators office (as my husband works for the senator), Alexander became very upset, yelled a couple of words and hung up.

- AMD replies to dI received a call from this number 888-863-5719 stating Pristine Financial Group (PFG) would report me to the IRS by providing them (the IRS) with a Form 1099-C stating that the time-barred debt in my name is an income and the IRS would garnish my account and wages. I spoke with one BOB EDWARDS whose direct phone is 714-597-7519. He threatened me with litigation unless I paid $4506.00 to settle the debt.
I have researched the business practices of PFG and found that this shady company is running afoul of federal law as well as state law.
My advice to anyone caught up with this unscrupulous organization (PFG) is NOT to provide them with any information about yourself or the debt. The Federal Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) forbids anyone to sue or threaten to sue somebody for a time-barred debt. FDCPA also forbids the use of "fraudulent, deceptive and unfair business practices" to collect debt.
To protect yourself from scammers like PFG, file a compliant with the Federal Trade Commission and your state's Attorney General's office. You can also sue them for violation of the provisions of FDCPA.. - MTJust received their calls this afternoon. First called my cellphone, then left a message to my mother in law's home phone. Unbelievable, they even got my mother in law's home phone number!!! They knew my maiden name, marriage name, full address and SS#. Yes, if I don't call this phone number back, they will send me summons to against me. I added it to DO NOT CALL list, and filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. If still calling especially bother my relatives, I will sue them.

- PeanutThese people called my job today and asked for me. Of, course I wasn't there at the time. He spoke to my boss and told him that I must call in 24 hrs or they will summons me. My boss told him not to come to my job. Then he (caller) said if I didn't, then he would wait until Monday, May 12, 2012 to bring my paperwork to the job. Who are these people???? Please stop these harassing callers!!!
The number he left is 888-863-5719 and I looked it up on Spokeo......
It showed it was telemarketers!

- JayemgeMy caller ID had the following number "7748283686237". Way to many numbers, so I didn't answer. Voice mail message said someone filed a civil complaint against me and I was to call their law firm (the woman's voice was with such a heavy accent and sounded like she was eating something) to comply with the complaint.
Its a collection agency who's "bending" the law by passing themselves off as a law firm and leading the caller to believe there is a civil complaint. - BSomeone called my work place and asked my boss if they could have the sheriff serve me papers at work. She told them "No" and took the number and "case number" down for me. I am so glad I decided to check it out on here. I couldn't figure out why I would be getting served papers.
- SidSomeone called my home number (which this friend of mine shared with me for a while) and left a message saying that there is a civil complaint against him, and that he should call back right away. The caller left his name as Jeffrey Taylor, and also left a case number. But the caller ID showed a blocked number. In any case, it now feels like a scam because you cannot legally do a summons over voice mail - you have to physically present a summons, as far as I can tell. I wanted to add my message here - based on the earlier messages here, it seems like a lot of people have been getting these same phone calls.
- Caller: Did not leave a name
- BryanHad a company called pdi services call said her name was Jean cruise with a formal complaint and they were going to deliver papers to the house or to the job. Said good luck
