- Mertdawg| 5 repliesThese people are a law office collecting agency collecting for CashnetUSA. They are doing illegal activity espically in the state of California. Unless you get a letter from the District Attorney from your local area, they are BS. They are trying to collect money from you illegally. Ask them who they are and tell them to contact your lawyer (give them a BS name even), Dont give the number.. say you dont have it on hand.
Makes notes of everything and then proceed to sue them for breaking federal laws regarding the Fair Credit Reporting act. I'm about to press charges on them. If you have any assoication and can prove it, please contact me as maybe we can work a class action lawsuit against these immoral people. They go to Law School just so they can break the law and cause people misery and grief? Not on my watch.

- Keith replies to MertdawgThey left a message on my sons phone, which is in my name, saying that they had charges against me and were going to enter a guilty plea for me if I didn't respond. They must take me for an idiot. Like you, I have received no mail to this effect, have not been served in any way.
- blogspottr replies to ANONYMOUSThere is nothing legit about these [***]. This is nothing to do with bounced checks. The State pursues that type of stuff. This is a collection agency and you probably work for them.
- up yours replies to ANONYMOUS| 2 repliesDear anonymous,
A family member recieved a call for me from Federal Check Processing. First off they did not have my correct last name, as I have had a name change. The name they used has not been mine for at the very lease 15 years. Now let us see who is doing RESEARCH and who is UNEDUCATED. I do not go to the public library to do my research, I do it from the comfort of my own home, I pay a bill every month to keep it on (as I am sure it is with most of these other people), and I work a full time job. On top of that I go to college full time and I am a full time mother. The way your post looks you are the one that is not educated, because the first thing my college taught me was to use complete words and not to use the "cell phone slang" that you apparently do. I do not understand why you would use rhetoric methods and name calling to classify all groups of people. Would you care to clarify this for me? Now it is time for me to get nasty to you, the company that called for me is a scam, if anyone is "scumbags" it is this company because they are using the word "federal" and leading people to believe they are affillated with the federal government, which they are not! You work for a fly by night company, that has even pulled the wool over your eyes in believing they are something special. One other thing, GET A LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!! - sara replies to up yours| 1 replywell if you pay all of your bills what happened to this one? a payday loan though???? doesnt seem as if you sound like you need it bubt i guess the truth speaks for its self...my question is how can you people even attempt to be angry when YOU DIDNT PAY YOUR BILLS??? how is that the person whos job it is to collect's fault????? dont be mad because your past does catch up. pay your bills and no one would be calling your house, job, or 10 year old son...duh
- sara| 1 replyand if they are a collection agency????? that means you dont owe a debt??? thanks guys for contributing to Americas debt and the current recession that we are in.....THANKS ALOT how many of you people get a thousand calls a day for old bills and can pay them n just dont?? you have the internet at your house but cant pay back $$$$ ??????? am i the only one who doesnt see priorities and the future of the country's finances??
- annoyedCalled me and said I owed some loan from 2006, told them that was over 5 years ago and I didn't owe anybody for a loan. She spouted out last 4 digits of my social and started trying to get me to confirm stuff. I stopped her and started asking her who she was, etc., and that if I owed some debt from that long ago then they needed to send me something in writing according to the FDCPA. Started trying to tell me she wasn't a collection agency so she didn't have to adhere to that law. I asked her who was setting up some sort of payments or getting the money and she said that they did as a "processing center" and that they were just giving me a courtesy call before she signed "the legal affidavit". I told her I wasn't giving her any information until somebody sent me something in writing because I had no idea what she was talking about. She gave me to some supervisor who started yelling at me that I know that I owe this debt and to quit playing around and give them the banking information so they could collect what was owed them. I told him to quit yelling at me and he said he could do whatever the h*** he wanted sinced I owed him money. I hung up. This cannot be legit, BEWARE!
I do NOT owe any loan, period.- Caller: Federal something
