I didn't actually receive a call from this number, but it is on a letter I received from a Nikisha Wallace from "UPS" requesting another credit card number or a check for packages that were shipped.  Please note that my bank card number was stolen while I was on vacation in South Carolina the week of Memorial Day.  My bank believes it happened when I paid at the gas pump.  The "thief" stole almost $900.00 out of my checking account, and I didn't realize it until a day later when I tried to make a small purchase using my bank card.  My bank froze my checking and savings accounts and made the card "invalid" to use.  My bank has been unable to figure out who it was that initiated the transactions through "UPS" Internet Shipping, where the "shipping" originated from, etc.  However, after receiving the letter today from "UPS", I began investigating myself using the "tracking numbers" listed and the 1-888-877-5667 number listed on the letter.

we had nearly the exact same scenario  only being asked to contact a different person at that same number, 1-888-877-5667.  Same thing though, CC stolen recently and "UPS" requesting a call about a rejected charge. Call 800-PICK-UPS and ask for billing if you want to check on your account, but don't call the number in the email.

I recieved a call from 972-884-3081. I didn't answer but I had a message from Jim Brinkman from UPS about a rejected charge on my MC on July 12 for $6.84 and I needed to call him back with the account #R845Y6 at 888-877-5667 x4367. I listened to the message twice before I realized that the card was cancelled 2 years ago. I called the number at that extension and got a voice recording for Jim Brinkman.

Just received a similar email with the instructions to call 1-888-877-5667. The email said my American Express card was rejected, but I never had an American Express.

also got UPS e-mail from Chris Matthew tex1cam@ups.com or ccabral@ups.com.   I have been getting phished from one of me Ebay/PayPal accounts that I do not use.  The name that they used to address me is the misspelled name from those accounts and the card is one that I had to cancel after some fraudulent charges.

Same thing, a phone call from Nikisha at UPS- 888- 877-5667 X 4347.  I was waiting on the charge for a UPS package that was delivered.  I couldn't hear a word she said, her voice was so quiet.  I pretty much got that my card was declined for the charge, maybe she asked if I had another number.  I said I would call the bank and she gave her call back number.  When I returned the call I got a sex line basically and now I wonder if I'm going to be charged $4.99 for that call...Fortunately, I did not give her any info she didn't already have and shut down my card and account immediately.

UPS has changed the way they do pickup service and require a written copy of your card number and expiration date.  Obviously someone in the UPS center, driver or other, got my card number and expiration date.

Also received an email from UPS that seemed suspicious because it came in the name of an employee we no longer had referencing a credit card number we don't have. After calling UPS directly, all of the information in the email turned out to be correct--the account information had never been updated, but someone HAD used our account number with our permission.

This is not a spam number.

    Creeped out
Received an e-mail from "Angela Mason" pretending to be a concerned UPS employee -- Telling me my payment for an [unnamed] invoice [because there wasn't one] was rejected by my bank card, and I needed to call this number 1-888-877-5667 to provide them with an updated credit card number immediately.
They had my UPS account number! my name! and my e-mail account correct --
They also used an amount that was very similar to an invoice from a few days earlier that I DID already pay...
    VERY creepy...

Ditto here, though on mine they said I had a Diners card (which I don't).  Odd thing is that they had the correct UPS account number, invoice date, total amount billed and the last 4 digits of my credit card number.   Called 800-PICKUPS and they said it was paid and that the email looked suspicious but to check with billing at 800-477-7080.  Called them and they didn't see any problems with my billing either.

If it is a scam how did they get as much detail as they did.  Does UPS have a leak?

Received a call claiming to be UPS and saying that my credit card was rejected by my bank. They had my actual UPS account number and said to call this number to straighten out my billing. Since I had not recently shipped anything, I was immediately suspicious. The UPS website did not list this phone number and then I googled the number and found all the comments here - thanks to others for posting. I then called UPS and got a new account number and reported this fraud.

This is a legitimate phone number for UPS accounts receiveable dept. After calling the number back and giving them my new cc info., I got nervous. So, I called UPS accounts receivable dept using the phone number provided by a legit UPS employee. They verified everything.

UPS has an email you can report these things to - fraud@ups.com - you should forward a copy of the e-mail to them - the one that had your UPS info on it -

I received a call from this number on October 7th also. The caller was trying to talk me into more services with UPS (she sounded quite ignorant also). I had to hang up because she just wouldn't take "no thanks" as an answer. A few minutes later I received a fax with a "UPS of America" W-9 attached. Fax claimed I asked for a copy of their W-9. I did not such thing.

I received an automated call stating that there was a problem with my UPS account and payment.  I used our UPS account to ship a package last week.  The message told me to call 888-877-5667 ext. 5.  The guy told me our credit card on file got declined.  He have me the the last 4 digits and expiration date, all were incorrect.  I asked him to fax me the bill and he got confused/nervous sounding.
