Nobody form ANY company should contact you from their private email address for any reason. All employees at UPS have a UPS.com email address.

There's only ONE proof.  Have UPS post this number on their website.

I opened and Account with UPS like 1 month ago. Never sent or received anything.
But this people call me talking about an outstanding balance of 235 dollars and want me to send the CC information.
Of course this is an SPAM. I called UPS and they informe me that they will never request credit card information by phone and that phone is not into their system as a UPS phone.
Is a Scam and they are not as good as they think they are.

I got this call too and I do not have a UPS account nor have I ever. very rude woman demanding my credit card payment.

Caller sounded like cheap loud equipment. Very poor quality. Said they were UPS accounts department in poor English. Asked to speak with account payable person. Said I owed 273 dollars and needed paid right away. I was suspicious right away. The USP invoice arrived the next day [ strategic timing?] and showed only $73 owed with no issue. Called UPS and they seemed to know nothing of any issue that I would get a call from. So bottom line is either someone at UPS has structured something calibrated as fraud, or someone who knows the landscape ut UPS has set up a fake call center. So my opinion is a scam. UPS offered no help either. Strange...

it is UPS. If you did not pay your bill, you get this call. Yes I verified it. Pay up!

My shipping dept told me this number kept calling them and they thought it was a scam.  They asked me to block the number.
I called the number back and spoke with a guy named Jack.  He confirmed our account number and the last 4 of our CC and expiration date.  He said they'd been trying to reach us to let us know we had a declined payment.

I spoke with our accounting dept and they confirmed all the details and it turned out that our CC had been maxed which is why the auto-payment had been declined.

This is legitimate.
