    Prosecute Illegal Telemarketers!
Spoofed #, answered, no one there.  Called the # in caller id, they are spoofing a phone # used to promote a movie from 2010 - got a promotional message for the movie.  If NSA is truly recording all call-to-call information, why don't they use it to find and prosecute this form of organized crime?!

Call the PUC, they are the scam artists that say they represent contractors in your area. Report EVERY number to the Public Utilities Commission. This is the WORST scammer/spoof number fraudster around. I think they are based in Encino California and its 100% FRAUD.

They called Aug 7th.  I blocked their number.

They called again Aug 8th - they were blocked from yesterday...and forever!

On my business lines, I have the Digitone Call Blocker (bought thru Amazon.)  This little device not only blocks individual numbers it can BLOCK ENTIRE AREA CODES.

For our home line, I recently got the new Panasonic wireless phone that blocks 250 numbers - previously we had the Panasonic phone that blocked "only" 30 numbers.

I'm certain that we have blocked at least 100 numbers so far in the 2 months that we have had the new Panasonic.  When the phone fills up - which I'm sure it will - I will simply delete the oldest number(s).

BTW these devices block all "PRIVATE", "UNKNOWN" & "OUT of AREA" calls.  On the rare occasion that we do receive a blocked call - the phones DO NOT RING!  Our previous Panasonic phone would ring 1 time to let us know when a blocked call came in.  The new Panasonic does not ring at all - same thing on my business lines using the Digitone Call Blocker.

8/9 12:05 Unavailable but fool stayed on after rolled to voicemail and asked for me by name.  I wasn't home and wouldn't have answered because of the "unavailable" ID.  Whoever it was stayed on for approx. 30 secs.  What part of voicemail do these idiots not get.  I too have a call blocker, but it allows up to 1200 blocked numbers.  I don't want to block any entire area code.   When called #back, got a recording of what sounded like a radio program.  Whatever, won't get further response from me.

"Gary" Called. He's in my area, do I need any work done on my home.  I was super nice and asked what address he was working at, I'd like to drive to it and check out his work. He hung up on me. LOL  I've resisted buying a call blocker but gave in recently. This number will be blocked and I won't have to deal with Gary anymore.

Frequent calls leaving a voicemail "This is a service verification."  WTF?

This number is being used by more scammers.  The problem is these people use many different fake or spoofed phone numbers.  It does not matter that many of us are on the Do Not Call List. That list is only as good as the businesses that follow the rules.  These unidentified callers are idiots and could care less about responsible citizens!
