- JoeDon't fall for these scammers from India!!! They falsely claim they are from Microsoft and they received report that your computer is running slow. They will tell you to install a program called Teamviewer so they can access your computer remotely. What they really want is to falsely get you to fill out a form online to pay a $10 fee and you have to type your bank information which they will steal and clean your entire bank account. Microsoft doesn't call or target or analyze anyone so don't be scammed by these Indian devils!!!!!!

- MWGot a call from this number and an extremely opinionated and pushy lady called Ann claiming the usual y"our Microsoft Windows has a problem" angle. Of course I have a lot of computers here and when pushed she could not specify a MAC ID, computer name or IP address. Very persistent and totally ignorant of how ridiculous her claims were. Told her I was on a do-not-call list and reassured her that to be extra safe I had added the Itec Alert number to my Sentry call blocker blacklist. Wished her an unpleasant day and hung up.

Very noisy background, a female with a very heavy accent and very poor English grammar told me that I had a serious problem on my computer and she was calling to help me fix it. Knowing this was a HUGE scam I played along for awhile. I asked her which computer as I own 4. She responded "all of them". (Interesting-highly unlikely-but interesting). She then said I had "bad Microsoft computers", (again, interesting, but wrong as I have Apple systems). I then let loose and told her I knew she was nothing but s lying, low-life scum, preying on naive, trusting individuals and that someday karma would kick her in her ass.- Caller: ITS

I received a call from "Mark" representing I TECH ALERT. "Mark", with a foreign accent, informed me he received a report that the Microsoft program was malfunctioning on my lap top. When I asked him how he would know that, he said his business has a contract with Microsoft and performs services for it. I hung up. Later, I called back and another guy with a foreign accent, "William", answered the telephone. Again, I hung up.

- unreallthese folks have been calling my home for months at least twice a week. I don't answer my phone during the day as I get 5 to 7 calls a day even though we are on the do not call list. Since they are charities or scammers I have little doubt they care about any DNC list so talk to the machine baby

- Another scam attempt replies to Patriot327I got a call from the same foreigner saying they were from Microsoft and NOT SELLING ANYTHING> Wanted me to log to their site to get check for viruses that they KNEW from monitoring were on my computer. Obviously a scam. She was not too surprised when I asked her to remove my name from their call list and I hung up. Glad i did now that I see others with the same attempt at scamming.
- EdSame scam as noted elsewhere on here. They claimed my computer sent out an error message. I called them liars and hung up. Total scam.
