Just because you called this number and "got the Comcast bot lady" doesn't mean calls from it are actually Comcast. Scammers spoof legitimate phone numbers all the time.
By the way, do you often look up known phone numbers?

I got a call from this number 6 times in less than a minute.  Not sure if that's legal. No message left.

This number & 3 other numbers always calling & asking for leroy. Same lady voice. I told her each time & each number that there is no leroy lives here. I am a senior citizen widow & i am getting tired of these calls.

It is ComCast reminding me of overdue payment. I called back  talked to machine to schedule payment.

they called and i didn’t answer they said in the message “Hello this is a Comcast courtesy reminder for your appointment with a guaranteed arrival between 8 AM and 10 AM on Saturday, February 29 reminder someone over 18 needs to be present for the duration of the appointment if you need to change or cancel your appointment call 1-800 Comcast that's 1-800-266-2278 thank you for choosing Comcast…” (it was an automated message and kept calling)

although it was technically an “event reminder” the other calls i got from this number were also relating to a comcast account which i don’t even have

This is Comcast. I can confirm, I had an appt. and Comcast was calling to confirm this.

It's Xfinity. It's an automated number about my upcoming installation appointment tomorrow. Why a CSR would have no information about it. Legit

What is this number they keep calling me

They called me every day for about a week & a half now. Called me 3 times today already. Yesterday I checked the voicemail they left, & it was a recording with a callback number, something about a complaint from March 31st. I called back, got a file number; they already knew my name and phone number, which is BS 'cause I'm on the no-call list. Obviously a scam. Weird that other people were told it was Comcast. Blocked 'em.

Legitimate Comcast/Xfinity number. Called to remind me of scheduled service appointment.

I'm sure we're all just thrilled to know some random stranger has a "scheduled service appointment" with Comcast. That is why you're here, right? Because logically you would have no other reason to look up a known phone number.

The number turns out to be Comcast. I was called twice, but I don't answer unknown numbers. I figured if it's important, they will leave a voicemail. They did not. After reviewing this site, I returned the call, and sure enough it was Comcast calling to verify a previously-scheduled appointment for tomorrow. No harm done, but they should leave messages.
