Yeah, I got this call today.  Same message, given a case number, and told I needed to call back or action would be taken without my consent.

What's funny is that they didn't even get my name right...which if they had a legitimate case file you'd assume that's what they'd get correct.  But nope, the message was for an "Elly," which is clearly not my name...and no, I've never had people refer to me as such for either a nickname or a just a shortened version.

But hey, since I'm not this Elly, then it doesn't apply to me regardless.

They called my mother and said that they needed to contact me to reschedule an appointment. Called them back and they're trying to get money for a hospital that's in a state I haven't even lived in for 15 years. I called and gave the reference number, was transferred to "legal" and spoke with Chris, who told me that it's fine if I don't want to pay it, they'll take it "involuntarily". When told that I'm disabled and don't work so good luck taking it from me, I was told that I would be arrested for "failing to pay my obligations". Then he hung up on me, when I called back I was told that Chris was the director of operations and transferred back to him. I asked for a supervisor and was told no, I told him I would be filing a complaint and he told me good luck.

they called me asking for my mom and left the same message. Some man with the last name Stevenson. My phone interpreted it as Spam and made it go to voicemail automatically. They left a case number and everything. I called back and they said it was after business hours, but it was only 3 minutes after they called.

My wife was called about 3 weeks ago by Jessie stating that because I had an outstanding credit card debt, we were being sued.  I called Jessie back and he gave me an address that I don't been remember living in Houston.  I have not lived in Houston since 1994.  He eventually git frustrated and begins to inform me of my low intelligence and that it was a mistake for my wife to marry me.  He eventually hung up on me.  I called back and told him to send the certified letter and we can go from there.  I call back every now and then just to hear the voice of the man who said my wife should not be married to me.  I'm sure he googled me and saw my wife.  He's salty.

Got an email from Apple that iTunes gift cards were purchased by my email address ($800). When I called the help number listed, the person answered "hello" and the return email address was from a Gmail account. I called Apple support and reported it to the phishing department. Confirmed it was fraud.
