This company is not in Fla anymore. They had to move out of state to Georgia because of many lawsuits and also the Att. Generals office. I will find there new name and post it.

To the person who said he knows Jimmy Grizzaffi, Tonia King, Martin King, Lawrence King, "Rick Turner," "Robin Adams," "John Michaels," "John Baker," "John Mitchell" or any of the names these people use, please tell us how we can find them, or get information on them.  There is at least one person on this board who knows Jimmy Grizzaffi, as he stated.  Give us whatever info you have on him and the others so we can locate them and bring them to justice.  Please.  Let us know what you know or give us ways to find out.

We have filed a complaint with the State of Florida and we are in contact with the Sunrise Police to file a report with them as well.
It REALLY makes me feel stupid to have this happen to us.
We can't seem to collect a past due account, ($11,510.00) and then to have Baker & Edwards pose on our behalf to collect this past due account and then skip with our money is almost more then I can stand.

Everyone beware!  "John Hughes" from Baker & Edwards is now at Chase Cohen & Associates, 2880 W Oakland Park Boulevard,Ft Lauderdale, FL 33311 Ph: 954-717-4111.  It is possibly the new location for B & E after they found out about the investigation.  BE VERY CAREFUL!  They are calling the same clients from the Baker & Edwards asking if they have someone who owes them money.

Concerned, it seems to me that you are working for Baker & Edwards. Let me tell you that they are a fraud!! We paid them $1500.00 to collect a debt. Luckily, I was able to find out that there company is a scam before they took the money and ran. We now are going after them on  afederal level!

Baker and Edwards called on our business and went to our customer and said that they represented our company.  Baker and Edwards settled on a $ amount with our customer for a far lesser amount and gave our customer clear responsible papers for the rest of the $. Now we have not heard from them or can't contact them to get our money. Hope eventually everyone that has delt with them will get their money.

You are not alone.  The pain and anguish I have endured first from my client and then Baker and Edwards is awful.

I am at a loss as to how to collect from this so-called collection agency.  Rep from state agency was no help!  I'd have to file a claim in Florida.  My company is in NH!  Why should I have to pay one more penny to collect what is owed me is a shame.

I too have been taken advantage off. Let's get together, hire an attorney to conduct a joint law suite. Since Baker & Edwards has conducted business across state lines we can pursue FBI involvement. Most likely they are not reporting all of the income received on our behalf to the IRS as well. It is very likely that we won't get out money, however, it is equally likely that Mr. Baker will server time in a Federal Prison. We, the people cannot allow criminals to get away with criminal acts. We also have hired Baker & Edwards. They made us pay $5,000.00 upfront (which in hind sight was pretty stupid that we did so...but we are a small business and were owed $66,000.00 so we were desperate to collect it. Any small business owners know that can make or break your company). Anyway, we were told that we would have the money within 60 days. They also said that would constantly contact us with updates. They never did! I always had to call there and when I did I was always told the person I need to speak to was not in or if they did asnswer I would just get told they are working on it. Now none of their numbers work...and we have no way to get in contact with them (we are in PA). Besides that...they never collected our $ and also now have $5,000.00 of ours. We totally got scammed. PLEASE HELP! Anyone with any information on how to contact someone or where to go from here please let me know. Thank you.

I think most of us would join in any group endeavor to see these cons pay...and pay. The numbers listed in the other blogs tell how to start things rolling with the police and State officials in Flordia. I will be adding my name to that list tomorrow. In my paperwork with Baker & Edwards they simply list their name, but on the initial phone call they identified themselves as attorneys. Since I am in Texas and I am seeing so many of us in other states, I am assuming they have breeched some law concerning state lines and hopefully the Flordia Attorney General's office will take that information and work with other agencies to not only stop this abuse but to nail them.
