They have called my house every day for 3 weeks now.  Called at 9:02 p.m. tonight.  This time I picked up and they hung up.  SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    

Called again today...lead him on as long as I could

they called at 10:15PM  and when you answer they hang up!!!

Well after repeated calls leaving messages of hello hello are you there, etc on my answering machine and due to the hour 1030 PM I answer the call and ask if they know the time and immediately get disconnected.

Try to play along and waste their time!

I hung up and called the number back. It rang through to their call center, so when they answered I said, " Hello? I am David from the Windows Technical Department and there is a problem with your Windows operating system..." (In my best Indian accent). They got pissed off and hung up.

Why is there even a do not call registry if nobody enforces it? These people call me all the time.

"Toll free call" called @ 12:28, 1:13, & 1:23, no msg. DNC list is a joke! Maybe it's time to put your representatives and senators phone numbers on these telemarketers/scam artists call lists

I received a couple of calls from this number today.  After reading a few message boards regarding this scam, I already knew what was going on once the person on the other end started speaking.  I just got tired of the never-ending "toll free" calls and demanded they stop calling my home.  I realize, though, that won't stop it.  They have called early in the morning, late into the evening, and every other time in between.   I thought I was on the Do Not Call registry, but I assume these folks know how to circumvent the rules on that.

they have called my home 193 times this week alone. we have finally started answering the phone in a foreign language to get them to stop. Also have answered IRS and DEA. This will make them stop for a few months and then they call back. They got our information from Microsoft somehow but I have not used a windows based computer in years and I would not be using windows 8.

Another telemarketer/scammer/crap caller!  I have implemented PhoneTray software which allows for unlimited blocking of all selected incoming phone#'s, and this phone number has been blocked for months.  These idiots have called 3 times this morning alone. My phone rings once, then automatically plays a rude message, and then hangs up.  Try calling them back? Good luck.  Their line is ALWAYS busy ... because it is a ROBO-CALLING scammer!!!

To all the people complaining about the Do Not Call list not stopping these calls : If you have read any of the other threads on this site you will know the these calls have spoofed caller ID numbers (not real numbers) and originate overseas in countries mostly in Africa and India and Pakistan. The calls are sent via the internet and are virtually untraceable to the actual callers and because they originate in other countries, they are almost impossible to prosecute. They use computer auto-dialers that will call every phone number in whatever area code they program, or every number in whatever phone list they are using. And whenever they get someone answering they pass the call to an operator/scammer, (hence the delay before they answer). The auto-dialers don't know or care if your number is a cell phone, unlisted, or on the D.N.C. list.

We've been getting calls non stop. I asked why he's calling since we're on the do not call list and he kept talking so I told them we don't have a computer,  we're Amish :)) and hung up. Lol

I had some fun. Told him I had five computers. He said it was the one I used to get on the internet last.  I told him it was my I pad. He said, "oh my god sir", you don't have windows on your iPad.  
I said, oh yea, I bought it off ebay.  He said I should call him back after dinner.
