Matt, LOL you are funny! Called me too, hung up when I kept saying I wasn't comfortable with this, and he got all smarmy on me, at which point I said "how do I know YOU'RE not a hacker??" Suddenly I got a dial tone.........

Got two messages from this number and no one answered.

There is a way to ropot it. Send the number to the attorney general's office in your state. They will investigate, or at least they do in NC

Called cell phone last night and again this morning.  Just not answering it.  Aggravating is not a strong enough word.  Called home phone at 8:15AM and woke me up this morning.  That is a dangerous thing to do.

Some Indian calling for the 50th time or so.  I said, "**** you" and hung up.  He called right back and said, "Are you the test tube baby?" (I guess an insult in India).  I said, "Is your mother a cow?".  He hung up.  These are coming from overseas of course and I guess our govt is too busy with Chinese and Russian hackers to worry about simple annoyances.   I have found what they like least is to pretend to go to your computer and pretend to follow their instructions and, if you have the time, keep them on the line as long as possible by making up things when they ask, "Now what do you see?"   I usually say something like, "A monkey kissing a 3-toed sloth" or something.  They say 'what??' then ask me to start over and I pretend to and then make up something else.  It ended last time about nearly an hour with the Indian saying in his heavy accent, "I think you want to make the fool of me, sir!"  Well, no ****.  I retired early and have way too much time on my hands.

Caller says he is from Microsoft

Got a call at 7:30 a.m. I have found the best way to deal with this type of call is telling them you know it is a scam and hang up. Word must get out because, thankfully, I have been receiving less calls.

I got two calls. One from 888-997-1637 and shortly after from 857-437-9683. The man from India said he was from the Windows Support Team and that someone was hacking my computer and something about error messages. I hung up the first time. The second time I argued that I had no way to verify that he was legit and that I'd had no issues with my computer. He told me urgently that I would lose my computer if I didn't follow his steps and that it wouldn't be his fault if I didn't listen. I asked him the steps. He asked if I was typing them in and I told him I was writing them down. I would have a computer pro friend of mine verify them before I would put them into my computer. He got very frustrated and hung up. He was very convincing and almost scared me into complying. I'm so glad now that I didn't follow his directions.

Has called our landline 4 times in 2 days.  Called at 8:15AM yesterday.  And has called my cell phone 4 times in last two days.
Only answered once and it was India accent saying windows detected a virus attack that would ruin our computers.  Have not answered any others.

We get repeated calls from this number and I never answer.  This morning, before 8 AM, I did answer to ask them to take me off their call list.  The guy said, "Go to hell."  Then he hung up.  The Do Not Call list program is broken and worthless as this guy is not the only number I get calls from.  It's annoying but I just let it ring if I don't recognize the number.

Just got a call at exactly 7:00 AM on the dot from this nonsense.  I told them to remove my number, do not call again, that I know it's a scam.  Indian guy reading the script disagreed.  Pathetic.  Thankfully I can block phone numbers from my home phone, so this one goes in the list.

Called me this morning at 7:00 a.m.  Did not recognize number on my caller ID.  Did not answer.  Can't believe these idiots/scammers would call so early.

stop being a victim, each one of us here need to redial the number 3,4,5,6 times per day, this will eventually put them out of their business.. i call it:  PAY BACK and I'm tired of these idiots messing with me
