My caller claimed to be calling from the City of London business team - when challenged, they insisted that they were based in the City despite the call routing via 00188. Three calls today - very irritating. Very suspicious. Least nefarious reason for call would be if they are a sales / research team working on behalf of a large international real estate company (eg: costar group / CBRE?). UNLIKELY THOUGH, and caller flatly lied about their location.

They have contacted four staff at our company. They continually call and as the statements above, they want to know when our company is moving. The accent sounds Indian. The caller has been very persistent, and has continued to call even after we have asked them not to. They will not provide a call back number, we also asked them to email their questions, which of course they did not do.
The statements prior to mine have been very helpful and have also confirmed what we thought. That this number and caller are a scam!

Had a call today, and they kept asking to verify my address.  When I asked who they were calling, they did give right company, and then asked me if we were still planning to move.  I advised we have never intended to move, she responded with "Are you sure?"  I told her that was a silly question, of course I was sure, but remove me from her list as I never asked to be contactd by her

Indian accent claiming his name is Kevin Baker with the State of Texas.  I cut him off and said do not call our office anymore and hung up on him.

I've gotten calls from them for years, I mean years. Have had my same number and been in the same office for over 31 years and they call here about once a month, doesn't do any good to tell them to quit calling.

I am getting calls from 889-777-1117.  The mans sounds like he's in India.  He will not answer my questions and then hung up on me abruptly.  I attempted to call the number back and it doesn't go anywhere.  It's a scam.

Got same call from 889-777-1117, said she was from the state of IL located in Chicago, sounded from India... don't know what scam is but told them we weren't looking at moving... and she said thank you and hung up... Wierd...

I am joining the negative feedback for these thieves!
Not sure what they do but, as soon as I got curious about what they want and how they found me, they hung up.

just got a call from this number indicating he was Kevin for the City of Salem Business Association and said our information was flagged that we were moving.  weird

Just received a call from this number...couldn't understand what the woman said other than "did your move go okay? are you all settled in"  Our business has been in the same location for 25 years so I just hung up and immediately received another phone call from the same number with a woman fake-crying on the other end.

This people have been calling since almost 2 years ago with the same question. They want to know if we have found a place (office) and if we already moved. We have been telling them that we moved and asked them to remove our number from their list.

Same as everyone else. He said he was from the State of Colorado Office of Economic Development. He hung up when I pressed him for details.

I got call on April 17, 2013 in the afternoon....Same stuff but told me that she is calling from Gov of Alberta, Canada

I got a similar call from the "Alberta Business Development Branch" claiming to want our new business address. When I asked, "where did you get this information?," they hung up.

Another one here - this one said he was calling from "State Dept of Michigan."  About our business in Arizona. *shrug* Asked to be removed from list; not holding my breath.

they keep calling our office to ask if we are moving.  we've told them every time to remove us from the list and they keep calling us! daily!

Received call from 889-777-1117 on my business line. No message. Thanks to a quick google search while the phone was still ringing, I found this website and so did not answer.
By the way, phone scammer's computers keep track when you pick up the phone for these annoying calls, and sell your number to more scammers. They make money (and you'll get more calls) even if you've never bought a single thing over the phone in your life.

Received a call from this number.  He said he was calling from Shermack Design. Had a accent which made it hard to understand the caller.  He asked if I was still planning to move.  Huh?  Told them I was not planning on moving.  And they hung up.  I am putting the number on my annoying caller block list so they do not call again. I think it is some kind of data service that sells future move info to list brokers for real estate ect.
