If someone calls from this number saying they are from Microsoft and are responding to a report that your computer is running slow, has a virus, etc., DO NOT BUY INTO THIS SCAM.  They called me but I have Norton 360 and Registry Booster and I run them frequently so I know how my computer operates and it is not running slow. Later I found out that this is a wide spread scam where they try to get you to log on to your computer to "fix" the problem.  Then they wind up filling your computer with malware in an attempt to sell you their software.

keep getting call from this # I hit dismiss or ignore if you report it to the no call list they will find a way to call you and know it is a good # just ignore or dismiss and do not answer and waste your minutes.

This company has called many times stating they received a report I was having issues with my computer. They then immediately tell me to turn it on so they can "update" it for me. Considering I haven't been on my computer for about a month and a half, I immediately knew it was a scammer. I told them and they proceeded to hang up. They have since then called on an every other day basis even after I told them I'm on the no call list!

I have seen this number pop up on my cell phone one too many times, so from now on I check out all unknown numbers on 800notes.com and if it is a scam that I have tried to talk to about removing my number from their lists I do a couple of things. 1.) list the phone number on my contacts list as "Fog Horn!!!". 2.) Answer the phone next time the phone rings with that name showing, make sure the person is ready and BLAST THE HORN IN MY HAND INTO THE PHONE. They have a tendency to not call back too many more times. I'm quite sure somewhere in India there are doctors making a killing on hearing aids and doctor appointments.
This may not be the most humane way of solving this problem but I at least I give them a fair warning not to call back again. I have even told them that if they call back again that they will have to suffer the consequences. And a bit of a bonus is knowing that they will really think about calling back to anyone that warns them not to call back again.
This was a solution a friend from high school in the 70s came up with for an obscene caller wouldn't stop. We didn't have cell phones but we did have call forwarding. The police wouldn't do anything about these constant nasty phone calls, so she forwarded the phone calls to the police station for a week. The police caught the guy within 3 days.
The hand held fog horn can be purchased at any store and is quite adequate for today's cell phone uses.

This number has called repeatedly for the purposes of ameliorating a slow internet connect, even though a  complaint of that sort was ever filed with this or any other company.

I hate to tell you, but they are starting to call cell phones now. Those cost me time and money!

Repeated nuisance calls from (901) 867-7856.

Received a call from this number today at 2:12PM on my cellphone.  I have all of my phones registered on the Do Not Call Register, but they still seem to get through to annoy.  I tried to call the number back from my work phone and the recording comes on to say that the number is disconnected.  How are they calling from a disconnected number?

Numerous calls tired of getting these shut these people down.

Just received a call from this number. I picked up, pretty sure it was some sort of scamming call because the caller ID was "unavailable." After having to say "Hello" several times, a man came on the line, speaking with accent that said to me English was not his 1st language. He introduced himself as "A J." He said he was calling from "computer technical support" and had a report the computer here was "running slow." He asked if that was correct. I said, "No. Don't call this number again." Then, I hung up. The 901 area code is supposed to be for Tennessee, but who knows?

Indian guy calls and says my computer is running slow.   I say NO, you are running a scam.   He hangs up.   What a jerk.

800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also. We can't stop anyone from calling you either.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

How can they call from a disconnected number?  By number spoofing through an Internet-based voice services provider, or VoIP.

Told me my computer had a virus so I played a long for a but.  He tried to get me to download teamviewer to grant him remote access to my machine.  I told him I couldn't hear him because he sounds like he's India.  He asked me if I'm messing with him and called me a mother f**** bas**** and then hung up on me.

He was the one messing with me so he started it...
