I don't answer calls from someone I don't know.  This number has called 3 days in a row, and if fact as I was reading this site it called again.  The caller ID says CCS.  No voicemail is ever left.

Why do these people keep calling?  I don't know who they are and I don't owe them money.

Central Credit Services Collection Agency in Jacksonville, FL, is in trouble for harassment and scamy collection policies.
Calling me about daughter's acct. I don't even know what bills she has, they want to know where she wks, when shes hm, her cell. They told me she has past due CC account. And PayPal. I reported them to FTC.

I have received numerous calls from this number.  I have never answered this call since I am unaware of anyone in this area.  I am wondering if the calls are Marketing related since we just recently applied for a mortgage loan.  We has also just financed an auto at a bank.  We signed a document that says we need to call a certain number to be taken off of the list that the bank sells info to.  We did this right away yet we have not received a moment of peace in the evening.  I have evidence that this number (904-562-6650)and several others have been calling everyday starting at 7:00 a.m. to 9:00p.m..  Is there nothing to protect our privacy, other than the Do Not Call Registry (which we are on)?

I called them back and left them a message with my name and phone number and asked why they kept hanging up on my machine. When they returned my call they were polite and advised me who they were looking for and because I didn't know the person at all they said they would fix the account so that I wouldn't receive any more calls from them and I haven't. 1-904-562-6650 Is a Jacksonville florada # Judging from all the reporters saying different names It's a bought Number. So If we were able to find out whom it was that bought the # that would be target. Either way a job is a job but It's Very annoying. To bad we can't make the telemarketers call themselves. It's almost as bad as the tennesse and the california ones. Call and hang up. That is just plain rude. I figured If your going to call someone at least speak.

Also same number has been calling on a daily basis even on sunday several times a day from 8AM - sometimes 9pm. Same ole routine call answer hang up. message machine same routine no message. Doesn't this qualify as harrassment?

This number will not stop calling my cell! They called me again today--before 9am on a Saturday. It's driving me crazy!!!

Would you consider a class action suit?  I don't know anything about the law or how you would start something like that.  Maybe you could advise how we could do that.  Thanks for your help.

They have an important message for someone I dont know

They have left a message looking for an "Eddie Davis".  They requested that I call another number back, but I don't trust it.  Most of the time, it is silent on the other end.  They call EVERY DAY sometimes as late as 9:00 p.m. I am on the Do Not Call List, as well.  We have received a phone call for "Eddie Davis" at 3:00 in the morning, but I do not remember if it was from this company as well. It is driving me crazy, and it should be illegal!  Has anyone tried to block this call?  I tried dialing *60, but apparently I don't have this feature on my phone.

Do they charge you?  It IS a 1-900 number.

exact same thing happned to me. they said I had 10 days to pay in full, or be sued...and I cant mail payments. MUST be postdated check over the phone. The guy calls 2 to 3 times everyday, hes rude, yells at me, says Im being "uncooperative" and becuase I wanted a payment plan, Im "refusing to pay."

Called house phone and immediately turned around and called cell phone.  No message left.  Did not answer.  CallerID says "CCS".

message sounded automated. Stated "I'm on your phone now"

I got a call from this number. The message they left was for an Advertisement - needing 3 zip codes and before they could finish - I deleted the message - waste of time and my minutes.

My step daughter answered the phone after seeing the number was a FL number. We know many people there so she didn't think anything of it. They asked for her dad, she said he didn't live here and this lady flat out lied to the poor girl saying that he worked in her office and she needed a way to reach him immediately so she gave out his cell phone #. I have advised them not to give this info out to people they don't know but this lady was insistent that she knew him and had to reach him. I think it's disgusting how they lie to children and are not upfront about what they are calling about.

I have changed my phone number after receiving a call from this number.  I will not take a call from them.  I am cripple and my husband is a Disabled Veteran.  We are elderly.

I would love to participate in a class action law suit against these people. They continuously call my cell phone and won't give up.
Thank goodness I work from home, because I would have been fired from my last job if they had called this much.
