I am posting this, as I received a call from this number asking me for a person that doesn't even live at my home number or address, but apparently has a similar last name as mine.  She disclosed his full name! (privacy regulations/laws are not very concerning to them)
I will be reporting to whomever I can - better business bureau to start!

That listing mentions nothing about any of the related discussion, I tried using the sites search function to find their company listed under Pomer & Boccia and returned no results.

I am a little concerned about this company and their ability to take me to small claims court. I have had a debt in collections with them for some time, to my regret but I am a single mother and university student who struggles to obtain even the most basic of needs. If I were to pay off my consumer debit with the credit card company would that be okay. If I pay off the debt before my court date would i still have to go and prove it to a judge. I am scarred and really just want them to leave me alone I am really stressed because of this and CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE.

They called me asking for Melanie. they identified themselves as a law irm. I hung up.

The same lady keeps calling she is from the LAW OFFICE of POMER BOCCIA. Total BS.
She says she wants to talk about the pending small claims court action...more BS. She's been calling for 3 months. If they were going to sue they would have done it already.
Just ignore these BS'ers

So this number came in on my cell I goggled the number and the results brought me to this page/forum and wowow there are post here from 2008 , now 2013 and low and behold I get a call from a number that you are all talking about... so is there any new news or updates on this firm that I need to be aware of

They phoned me at my office, I recognized the phone # and hung up. They then got the receptionist involved and then my supervisor involved who was quite incensed. So I was ordered by my boss to phone these so and so's and I immediately degraded by the person on the line and they want me to rush payments out paying them directly not CTC. I faxed them the deal I could live with, if they don't sign I will phone York Regional Police for harassing me and my co-workers.

yea they tried calling here too...thing is, we have NO debt to anyone! so its really funny that they are even calling here.. I have already called york regional police and the durham regional police. they are aware of the situation...

They just called my home phone number, looking for me. I laughed in there faces when they said i owed them money. I told the buggers to go piss up a rope, then blocked there number. These pricks are funny ;)

Pomer & Boccia, law firm (a person named Glen) keeps calling for someone called Nancy. I've had to block this caller as he has eaten up my money/cellphone minutes listening to messages that are not for me.

Is this the same David Pomer mentioned in The Law Society of Canada? Sounds like he is running a succesful law practice.

This is a collection agency that represents Canadian Tire Bank.

I received a letter from pommer and boccia about the money I owed Diana Deen stated that I need to pay in full she was rude and she told that I have go to court or garnished my wages I received a another letter from her stating to call her back I did no answer I feel that they are not legit now I have there r

Says they are Marriott Hotels and they picked my phone number to give me a special gift. Hung up before end of spiel and blocked number. Looks like number not in use by the Bill Collectors mentioned here before or they are using new scam tactics.
