Hung up as soon as I answered

Received a second call, 2 hours later, that also hung up immediately. I tried to call back, but the call was unable to go through.

Got the call but the caller hung up when I answered. tried to call back and got music.

Got a phone call from this number and they gave me a number to call back. 800-266-4881 ext 2222.  I called them, gave them the extension but the individual didn't know who had called.  I indicated I would call the 1-905-740-1230 number directly.  So far no answer.

I did research and 800-266-4881 is on a website for Professional Education Designs which looks like some kind of website / presentation design firm.

Someone from this number just called me and started asking about my website business. If they are a web site development company maybe they are calling people who have a website stating they create them and this company is fishing. We only talked about 1 minute and got disconnected. I tried calling back but no luck!

I went to my hosting company to see who hit my site right before my call. It was Hostopia.com, they have a 905 number. They are fishing and doing it unethically. I sent them an e-mail stating the facts!

Called my number, got an answering machine, left no message.

I've been getting multiple calls from this company for a couple of months now.  I tell them I'm not interested (they are a hosting company one minute and a web development company the next).  They ignore the fact that I'm not interested and continue to call back.

Let's clear the air here.  This company is not "fishing".  The number you are calling belongs to a Hosting and IT Outsourcing provider called Blue Genesis.  They do have a partner relations department and also a business development center that do outbound calling.  The 905-740-1230 number can not be reached because it really is not a working number.  It is assigned to the front end of an IP based phone system supporting the whole company.  It is dial-out only.  The 800 number left on Luke's voice mail is a working phone line and the extension belongs to an Account Manager.

There is nothing "unethical" going on here aside from the regular day to day operations of a Value Added IT Service provider.

received the call from this number at 1:44PM on 10/24/07 in Fort Worth Texas
from 905-740-1230. When I tried to call back the recording said:
"enter password and pound key", then it went to a dial tone and hung up.

I am so glad I searched this number and found you people.
First message today 10/25.  I will not be calling them back.  I host my own customers' websites and I am a web designer.  It is amazing that others would contact me to provide me with a service I am already providing to others.

They were a little miss leading saying someone from there
company had been talking to someone here - funny thing no one here.

Got a call from the 905-740-1230 in Montreal...maybe they want to wipe out french canadians...I hope they succeed

I read alot of logs with people complaining about this number. The company is called Blue Genesis. They are a web hosting company that call and call and don't leave messages. A royal pain if you ask me.

Just got the call and guess what...they hung up. Strange,  I spoke with someone named Preeti Patel last week and she asked my about my web design/development business. I agreed that she could send my contact info to someone named 'Darrell Bradley'. Should I expect to get regular hang-ups from this number for life now?

Wrong...Misterburke. It is a problem when someone calls me and hangs up. If this is the "regular day to day operations of a Value Added IT Service provider." I feel sorry for you...but don't call me any more!

Same thing... happened to me 905-740-1230... I tracked my site hits and it came from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States [69.49.114.10].

They called and hung-up....
Here is a tip - if you are trying to run a successful web development business... don't piss-off you potential clients with idoits doing VALUED prank calls...
