Received a message same as all the other ones reported here from 909-271-9502. A call from Steve Conners from Department of Legal Affairs, stating that he is calling regarding an important matter, that I should call him back right away and if I'm too busy, I should acquire a lawyer. I'm not returning the call of course and I knew this was a scam.

Guy claiming to be Kevin Miller said he was calling about a legal matter and that I was delinquent in 2009 taxes. Said I needed an attorney. SCAM. He said I owed over $5K which is completely bogus. I don't even live at the address he said anything like this would come from IRS and not DEPT of Treasury with people you can't even understand. Hopefully people don't fall for this and give th em any money.

We were out, Kevin Miller left the same 909-271-9502 number, said he was from Department of Legal Affairs and our son (who has not lived here in 10 years) should call right back... and if he does not take action it "might lead to legal action".  Strong accent, seemed like he was from India.

I got same message on my answering machine and accidentally erased it. Had to go thru the caller ID for the number. After reading all the posts, Ive been scammed!! Callers name was Steve Conner with a foreign accent saying he was with the Dept of Legal Affairs from the US Treasury.  He threatened me and said I should retain an attorney. I did call them back, only to leave a mesage, wish I hadnt now.  Certainly ruined my night and got my blood pressure up.
