Got a call from this number, I have a Tracphone and didn't want to waste minutes so I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message.

Called cell...I didn't answer it... they did't leave a message. I tried calling back ... Number that called cannot call back.... that number...
It has to be a scam!

Another scam call.  I'm just glad that my VoIP provider makes it super-easy to add numbers to the blacklist (which results in the caller getting the magic tones and 'not in service' message).

Yeah, Just got this call, disconnected when I answered. It's a scam targeting only Females. The system is designed to respond to voices in a particular vocal range (Lower=Men, Higher=Women), claiming to be filing a Class Action against the makers of Yaz (Birth Control). It's a phishing scam, looking for personally identifying information to be later sold for telemarketing purposes.

This phone number belongs to a public utility named CallerID4U, Inc., which is run by Paul Maduno and Luis Martinez.  They have entered into revenue sharing agreements with telemarketers who make illegal unsolicited telephone calls.  They profit directly from these outbound unsolicited telephone calls.

This appears to be a clear violation of a number of laws, including 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

Automated message left spam ad on my phone advertising for unidentified lawyer's office. Phone number is on Do Not Call registry, although as a cell phone it doesn't need to be; calling a cell phone with an auto dialer is automatically illegal even if the number isn't manually registered as Do Not Call. Reported to FTC via donotcall.gov complaint form. I suggest others do the same.

Message was:

"If you or a loved one has suffered from blood clots, deep vein thrombosis, or even a stroke after taking the medication Yaz, Yasmin, or Ocella, press 1 now. You may be entitled to financial compensation. Press 1 now to speak with a representative, or press 9 to be removed."

Calling a mobile phone using an automatic dialer is a violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991 (47 USC § 227), as is failing to identify the caller, and failing to honor the Do Not Call registry. This caller is breaking multiple laws, and you should not accept their calls.

I'm on the "Do Not Call" list and should not be receiving these calls!

Received a call from this number on my cell -- but I never heard it ringing!  Get yourself a LOUD whistle, and if you press the number to get a rep, when you get a 'live' person on the line, blow the whistle into the phone, and you just may not get another scam call from these sleazebags!
