After receiving a string of calls from a handful of telemarketers documented on this site, I received a similar hang-up message from 909-842-9112.  Area code marks it as 'San Bernadino' or 'California Inland Empire'.

As usual, didn't call back to find out what the deal is...anyone else getting pestered by this new number?

The warranty on your car will expire soon...thats nice, it would be a concern, if I actually owned a car.

I also got a call from this number. they didn't leave a message but it's annoying anyway.

Fight back people.  Take their calls and tie up their time as long as possible.  They called me saying they wanted to offer me low rate credit cards.  I kept them on the line (without divulging any personal information of my own) as long as possible until they hung up on me in frustration.

This is the 2nd call. Picked up neither since it was a 900 number. Certainly unrecognized by anyone in the household.

Got a call from 909-842-9112 at 12:50 PM EDT.  They left a message about a refinancing deal.  They also said that my eligibility was running out soon...haha.  Did not call back or reply

Received a call from this number on my cell, whose number hardly anyone has. Hmmm....
I didn't answer it. How did they get my number?

Got the same number calling my - didn't answer. how are they getting our phone numbers?

Received a call from this number on my cell.  I don't give out my cell number except to family, friends and emergency contact at work so I don't know how they got my number.  In trying to silence the call on my flip phone I accidently picked up the call.  Something about my credit card but wasn't a problem  - They didn't specify a company name so I hung up before it went any further.

This number has been calling me everyday for a week at about the same time.  Very annoying...

Called my wife's cell phone.  She asked to be removed from the call list.  the guy on the line said he would not do that and started acting like a child.  [***].

Received the same call. On my office phone. Which I think is hilarious.

Repeated calling with no message left daily for two weeks during the early morning and late afternoon.

I just got a call from this number, I don't know an automated voice recorder. It's a waste of time and money. The meeting was disrupted with this "A" word telemarketer..very disappointed.

Call from this number, no message left.  Probably car warranty thing as usual.   I gave my cell number to an Oil Change place so they could call me when the car was ready and the calls have been coming ever since.  I think they sold my information.

I started getting this number the last couple of days, at work, always same time. Never a message.

I had previously gotten the Car Warranty call ("Auto Solutions") from a different number. I told them not to call again, was promised they wouldn't, and it continued.

So I reported them to the FTC.

Call the FTC at 1-877-382-4357 to file a report. If they get enough, maybe they'll do something. I spoke to a woman there named Gabby who was very nice and did what she could to file my complaint.

Meanwhile, if you tell them to remove you, start keeping a log of the number and the time/date. Use this information to update your case with the FTC (they will give you a case #).

Remember, it is illegal for them to call you after you ask to be removed, and you can sue the marketer for a hefty sum PER OFFENSE.

Getting your number is easy, they just start dialing in sequence using an automated system that dials every possible combination of digits.

When someone picks up (voice system, machine, you), the system records it as a valid phone number.

I am geting frustrated, how can we stop people calling us

I  am getting calls from this 909 842 9112  when I pressed one I got a rude little a hol that I told to take my @# off the list and he hung up on me.  I called back and pressed 1 to remove my # from the list and it doesn't work they keep calling back so I am fighting back I am going to find them. They are in ONTERIO Callifornia.  I am going to find their reg. bus# and listed it on every sales internet sight I can find .  I WILL FIGT FIRE WITH FIRE!!
