car warenty running out saying i need to fix it be buying more warrenty with my creditcard.it was a woman on the line.time for f.b.i to catch thoes scamers and trow away the keys

rec'd call on cell which is used for emergency only and being interrupted with stupid call from a number that i don't recognize.  Get a life and leave mine alone. if i need you, i will call you!

I have received 5 calls on my cell phone in the past 2 weeks from different California Area Codes:

909-842-9112
310-599-9168
818-870-5092
213-550-4227

All these calls seem to be associated according to reports on this forum and occur in the afternoon or evening. I won't answer unknown calls on my cell, preferring to let the call go to voice mail, where I can screen the caller. No message ever left.

Prior to registering on the CDN CRTC DO NOT CALL list, I never received nuisance calls on my cell. Thanks to a huge loophole in this system, my number is now public. Thank You CRTC.

I received a call today by the same number prompting me to renew my car warranty which had expired. Out of curiosity, I spoke with the representative who asked for my VIN # and registration. Don't provide any information to this company! This is fraud!

Random selection. Probably a computer program. I assume that if they get one answer, they'll keep calling. I made the mistake of answering the first call, now I get a call from a different number each day. I haven't answered any of the others, but I've looked them all up and they are all the same scam. It's kind of funny because I don't own a car and I'm a college student with only $75 to call my own.
