Just got a voice message from this number.  It was the red cross appointment center for my blood donation appointment tomorrow.

Oh ys I did sign up to donate blood.....I never pick up unknown numbers

It's the American Red Cross.  They are looking for people to answer survey questions and/or give another donation.

yes that has to be it, i had a few calls,  and i had an appt today to give blood.

I don't answer strange calls either, and they did tell me when I made the appt, they would be calling 1 day prior as a reminder.

Just wanted to add to the ease of this one.

It is the American Red Cross making sure I know about my appointment to donate blood tomorrow (Friday) ... why they would be calling from So California when I live in Portland OR is beyond me.

Makes sense since I have given blood there in the past.  I wish they would leave a message, though.

Red Cross reminding me about my appt. What was weird was that they called twice and didn't leave a message until the second call.

This was the Red Cross blood donation appointment desk. I called the number and got scheduled to donate. It's all good.

Yeah this is from the Red Cross. They want you to go back for an appointment. But my bloodtype is the universal receiver so its basically useless. Even if their was a shortage of my blood they could just give the person who needed it any other blood.

I believed is the red-cross also because they are always hurry people to have blood donation when is nearly 3 mos or so until you go donate.

If it's the Red Cross, why are they calling my number?  I've never signed up for anything with them and I can't donate blood because I was stationed in England for 3 years (Mad Cow disease and all that what what?)

Looks to me like they're just going through numbers and illegally making unsolicited phone calls.  Hmm, seems to me there's a law against that..

Call the donor center and request you be taken off phone notifications.  It's easy, and we stop bothering you :)

They have a large permanent building with a lot of staff in Pomona. They probably called you from there. That's where I always donate.
