    I had the same thing happen.  Only one day they called while I was sleeping in. I answered while half asleep and was completely tricked into giving my credit card info. By the end of the call I woke up and called my credit card company. They said they had to wait for the change to go through and then I could dispute it. I was angry and said why would I wait to get ripped off? They said they couldn't help me so I canceled it. It turned out for the best because I opened a new card elsewhere and transferred most of the balance from the closed account and they gave me the runaround with fees to prevent my balance from being zero. all because of these scammers. cost me at least $100. I'm not sure if this is the same company or a new one. But the scam sounds exactly the same. Don't even answer an unknown number. I knew something was up when they called me 3 times in 3 days, said there was a voicemail waiting and I listen and there's nothing. so I called and got the message about calling the other number. I decided to google the number and found this site. So glad I know now.

    Uncle Mikey
    I have been getting calls on my cell at all hours. Being from Hawaii and a 2hour time difference BEHIND the west coast, and BEHIND the East Coast by FIVE hours, I have been called as early as 5:00 am Hawaii time, and as many times as 5 in a DAY! because I have caller ID, I do not answer the calls, but it is getting VERY ANNOYING! My number is on a "DNC" List AND is unpublished. I intend on reporting this to my phone company if this keeps up! (And at the rate it is going, it WILL, so I WILL!)
    I noticed that this has been going on for a while now. Anyone for a proposal for a "Class Action Suit"? Yes, I admit: I am VERY P-ssed off!

    Well, we can all see WHY you believe that you are getting 'decent' compensation (oops, I better say "pay") for the work you do.
    As you say, and I copy and paste/quote:
    "...they pay a decent amount of base pay plus commission. We are completely legit and have several business offices in virginia beach. The bbb does recognize us as a company so if you're having any problems contact them..."

    Let me tell you: THE reason why you are alleging that people here are having "buyer's remorse" (*By the way: THAT'S THE WAY it is SPELLED!) is because you do NOT even know how to spell (*or have the decency to CAPITALIZE "Virgina Beach" or the "BBB"!) and do NOT know what you are talking about!
    FYI as a LIST of examples:
    "thid" (as in "THIS". Gee, your THIRD WORD!);
    "thw" (as in "THE");
    "offor" (as in "OFFER");

    You SAY you are 19, but are you REALLY? Was your High School Graduation LEGIT?
    Come on now. Don't get on all these other people who ASK NOT to be interrupted or BOTHERED by these phone calls. You and the others ARE bothering all who complain, and they are getting upset NOT because they have "buyer's remorse" but because you are being a "P.I.T.A." (as in "Pain In The A--")
    And for the record:
    1) I HAVE NEVER "entered" or registered into one of those bogus "free sweepstakes". NOTHING is EVER truly "free"... and even though I know the saying goes that "... there's one born every minute..." that is NOT me.
    2) I am a bit too old to be "applying for a commercial student loan", because I graduated OVER TWENTY YEARS AGO, and it was LEGIT!
    3) I have NEVER had to apply for a "payday loan" either. My EDUCATION has gotten me to where I am, a business owner/partner!
    4) My numbers, both cell AND home, are on the "DNC" List (oops, I had better spell it out for you: The "Do NOT Call" List) AND are UNPUBLISHED. Yet, I get these calls over and over again. So why does THIS happen, eh "Mr. SmartA--"?

    So now what, Mr. "I am young, but I-Know-It-All"? What is your EXCUSE now? There should be none left except the FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS' VIOLATIONS that your company (and a number of others) shall potentially face sometime in the VERY NEAR FUTURE!

    The people that are being basically harassed and/or "abused" by this legal "circumvent" shall have their peace...

    just got a call from these guys, they asked for me by name and said there was a sweepstakes that I was entered into from my credit card. The lady said one person from each state would win a million dollars and she asked if I use Visa, mastercard, discover or american express mostly and what my age was.... Thats all that she asked for, is there anyway she can get my credit card info from what brand my card is and my age?

    HOPE IT'S NO JOKE
    I answered this call and I was told they need to verify my age and address and that I was placed in the top five drawing to win Publisher Clearance House Million Dollar Sweepstake Contest. I will let it be known when I win my millions!!!!! I will not buy another magazine and if I start getting junk mail it will be returned to sender every day, and even if look like it came from them.

    I just got a call from this number yesterday. If you get a call from here, ask to be put on their do not call list. If you already are on the national do not call list (http://www.donotcall.gov) or they call back they may be subject to a fine of up to $11,000. Make sure to contact your state's attorney general and keep track of as much information as you can, such as when they called, who you talked to, when you asked to be put on the do not call list. Get these people to stop, and the only way to do that is to make it more expensive than profitable.

    I was able to speak with someone to be put on the do not call list at 1-800-456-6565 you could also try 1-800-255-2557
