Annoying daily calls, sometimes more daily.  I.D. says MOD 914-294-4086.  Answering machine usually takes call and no one there.  Does MOD stand for "loan modification"?  I dont know, just wondering.  I'm also on Natl Do Not Call list, but, daily calls continue from this nbr and other.  Today, I answered by mistake, no one at other end, so I quickly hung up.

Answered ph no one there..hung up.  MOD appeared on screen.  No idea who or why.  Don't plan to answer 914 call in future.

I keep getting calls from this number several times a day.

As soon as I saw "MOD" -- automatically figured here goes another scam.  I never pick up a number I don't know.  

It's someone trying to scam or shame you into donating  to the "March of Dimes"

The March of Dimes people don't make bulk calls.

When you get calls from this number answer say nothing and hang up.....

I receive these anonymous calls periodically from, Anonymous.

Caller ID says MOD. Many calls - rings only 3 times before disconnect.  Never talked to anyone. Do not call list exempts charities, I think. They've worn out their welcome whoever they really are.

I do not answer such calls, but they are extremely annoying.   As they never leave a voice mail, I have disconnected that thinking a robot call would interpret an answering device as a working number!

I get these calls all the time. I do not answer, just delete. No big deal for me. Last call I got was this AM @ 8:45 AM

Caller ID says MOD. The phone rings no more than 2 times which is not enough time for the answer machine to pick up. I answered once and there was silence. The call comes daily, starting around 10/9/13.

Now that I've read all these posts, I will block the number through my phone feature. Thanks!

Call sometimes twice a day. Never say anything when I answer. I pick up the phone saying stop calling my number. They keep calling.

Last week they used a different area code/number and it was blocked; this week they have resorted to a new area code/number—it has been blocked too.

Received calls from this area code under private caller & MOD almost everyday since 10/12. Plus calls from 202 area code under private caller since 10/9.

They are relentless. The march of dimes, at least that's what the damn MOD on the caller ID says calls here non stop. Early in the am, and as late as 9 PM. I've blocked their number but they use a bunch of them so it's a waste of energy. All of the numbers come from a 914 area code and a 294 exchange.
Totally annoying.

Called asked for me by name. Then the representative said that they want me to distribute donation envelopes on behalf of March of Dimes to my neighbors on just my street. Asked if they could mail the envelopes to me in December to distribute to my neighbors.

I'm sick of all these calls!!!  I did send the cards for years, but the last few years they sent  three times plus more than needed....I told them it was a terrible waste.....there are only 5 in my block.  NO MORE!!!   Is this JUST ANOTHER scam call????  or really March of Dimes???

I have been probably 2 calls a day from this number.  

What a jerk company, would never use them.

I am on the National and Oregon Do Not Call registry.  For some reason I am getting several calls per day from this number.  I reported it several weeks ago and nothing has been done about getting them to stop calling.  What good is s do not call registry if no one gets my number removed from their list!
