This caller claims to cure rare diseases like MS and ALS by mentoring people, using just "logic". He is not a professional (not a doctor or psychiatrist, etc.)

He tries to sell his services to people with desperate illnesses, and he talks nearly nonstop. If you refuse him, he will call you back, over and over and over again.

Do not give him any information about yourself or your health!

I too just got a call from this number; the mans name is Marty W Murray out of New York. He has posted his "service" on places such as Craigs List.
He is a SCAMMER. If he calls you, you need to call your Atty. General and report him. Mr. Murray is trying to take advantage of people with diseases. He "service" is a crock!

Thank you for your post.  I've been getting phone calls from him since an article about my partner, who has ALS, was ran in the paper.  I'm glad I have caller i.d.  I screen my calls that way, and he always calls but never leaves a message.  So I thought I'd do some research.  Again, thanks.  We have enough on our shoulders to bear without people like this trying to scam us.

I am not trying to scam anyone. I wish I were, then I could quit. Yes I call repeatedly. I want to connect with people not leave messages. What is with caller i.d. anyway? If you want to get healthy you need to have the nerve to pick up the phone. Anyone who thinks I am scamming has not spent enough time to find out. How many of the people who made these comments spent more than five minutes talking with me. It takes more than that to learn about what I do. Anyone can heal. Believe it. A scam? Too funny.

This is not even true. Whoever this is probably just blew me off saying call back later. So I called back and then the person sat there using caller i.d. How would a person who does not talk to me even know what I am all about? Does not even make sense.

Called me repeatedly after seeing husband on the news (has ALS).  Don't ever call me again!!!

I cannot believe I just found this. I also received a call from this guy and was so freaked out. I was having a fund raiser for ALS and he calls to tell me about how he can cure people by teaching them to release stress. I am an ALS researcher and allowed him to talk so I could actually hear all of his bull-sh*t! He doesn't even speak as if he knows what he's talking about. I saved his # in my phone and when I saw this just checked because it sounded to similar. This guy is delusional and going straight to hell! I am going to be making a lot of phone calls tomorrow. He doesn't know who he's messing with.

This idiot called my house today.He thought he was talking to my son & not me.I have ALS.He told me that ALS was stress related & he could heal me by releaving my stress.I told him he was a fraud & he became defensive.
I will find a way to stop him from ripping off an ALS patient that may be desperate enough to give this man money

How does this guy get our names and numbers???  I don't think he realizes some of us are not gullible.  Luckily I can't get to the phone fast enough to answer it. Hopefully he will bother me so he will leave the rest of you alone.lol  Can the attorney general really do something about this guy???

This idiot calls my house about a half dozen times before I finally decide to answer...asking me about my husband and his ALS. Our local paper had just done an interview about his disease,so I know how we were targeted.I already knew he was a scam artist due to his grammer and his unprofessional persona. He spoke as if he had just about completed highschool. With every question I had for him...he really didn't know how to answer. He says he works for himself and that people with ALS probably only have stress issues. I think it's pretty despicable and unethical, that someone would ever try to take advantage of people who are dealing with such a life threatening illness.
I think predators such as this Martin Murray should be arrested and charged to the fullest extent of the law for harrasment and misrepresentation of himself and his "professional" abilities

It's not enough that the love of my life is dying from this inhumane disease; but now I have to put up with phone calls from this guy? He called me at work, after tracing me through an article from the MDA, never once asked about my husband or showed any sign of compassion for what we must be dealing with. He talked non-stop and was very evasive about what he actually does. I was able to get off the phone quickly and then went right to google where I found this page. Thanks for all the comments, this page reconfirmed my suspicions.

This guy called my phone and I do not answer numbers I do not recognize, however, on this occasion, I decided it was a salescall and I would put a stop to it.....He sounded like a used car salesman upon my answering a big red flag for me.  I have been in sales and service my entire life and my husband was diagnosed with ALS 7 yrs ago and the onset of the disease was many years before diagnosis. we are one of the lucky few who are still functioning well..not s well as 7 years ago but wel none the less and I went into attorney mode and asked this B S's many pointed questions, I wrote down his name and the 2 names of people he had to give me..I asked him what his angle was and he said "good health" he made me a 100% promise that he could CURE my husband I asked him how he got my private number, he told me I posted the information on the web I did not...he got it off our local AL
S chapter site were I have been instrumental in raising funds for the chapter and research....He could not answer a single question evehn though he Guarunteed 100% he could cure my husband.  I told him he was full of [***] and I would definately look him up and the internet and I plan to not only report him to my local chapter but to the authorities.  He is a SCAM artist and i could tell by his lack of phone skill...he thought he would talk me to death but i did not give this [***] much chance to since he could not answer a single question, verified that he has no creditionals and the only people he has "helped" is his family, he told me I was pleasant to talk to , i said I was most certainly not pleasasntn to talk to , I have been dealing with ALS for 7 years on behalf of my husband and I control h8is healthcare and he is doing remarkable thank god, but I have learned there are many snake oil salesaman out there who will promise you something take every penny you have and never deliver and I can assure you that you will not be doing that to this family. I think you are a fraud, and sick to prey on terminally ill people.  I do think people can go into remission but not by any means you have to offer mister murray. I told him not to call me again, if I needed his services which I do not i would call him, in the meantime I intend to report his fraudulant ass to every authority who will listen and I hope he goes to jail.  You should be ashamed of yourself and you messed with the wrong girl when you got me dude.   I will protect my husband with my life and against people like you and I will make it MY PERSONAL CRUSADE (his words) to see that you are behind bars.
