I just got a call from this number... at 8:45 in the morning!!! [***]. Don't they know that crap calls like this don't work?

Number 310-598-1655 - It is a scam to those who have delinquent pay day loans. They threaten you by telling you to have you or a lawyer call them if not, they wish you luck. The accent is Indian and they call you in order for you to pay them a settlement to your delinquent loans, but that is a scam. Watch for numbers also that begin with area code 707 or 949. They usually are scam numbers as well.

707 is the area code for California's Solono County (Vallejo, Santa Rosa, etc) It has nothing to do with scams or anything of the sort(I should know, I have friends who live there).

These people have called numerous times to the point of harrassment. When I asked to be put on their do not call list, they continued calling, usually later at night.

Calls keep coming through from ph#: 914-339-5531.  Very annoying.

From Education Await... This is a total crock... they constantly call all day and hang up... we have told them several times not to call here... and they keep calling, and calling and calling.... the number on the caller ID says 914-339-5531

I received a call once and called the 888 number to get taken off the list.  I pressed 1 to be removed and received another call 20 minutes later.

I'm in Miami and they JUST called me now and HUNGUP.

I say we call them, tell them we'd like some of their info and would like to make a contrubution and ask for a prepaid envelope - then, when we get the envelope mail it back full of bricks. Maybe they'll go out of business.

I just reported this number to the National Do Not Call organization at 1(888)382-1222. If enough people report them, maybe something will be done about it.

They've call me a few times and are rude. Won't tell me who they are when they ask for my son. I put them in my phone book under scam. WHEN they call again I will pick up and scream at the top of my lungs. Let's see how often they call after that.hehehehe

These people started at 7:30 this morning and has called 4 other times.
on one occasion. My wife said we were not interested.
after the 3rd call, I called them back and asked to be removed from their list.
1 hour later they called again.  Before I could explain to them they hung up.

They have called my cell phone all week! Grrrr!

I have registered on the DONOT call list... and they keep calling me. Called me even b4 8AM! I was irate! I answer no1 would talk, I could hear someone breathing or something on the other end. And they just called me again! It's getting ridiculous. Really wish it could be outlawed!

The best way to avoid ANY of these calls, is NEVER fill out anything online other then something through a trusted company that requires a phone number for shipping purposes. They phish your phone number from "surveys" and stuff. You never have to hit "submit" they record it all as you enter it.
Also, if you dealt with a car dealership, they have a habit of giving out numbers. Especially the dealerships on Motor City Way in Colorado Springs. I had to have my husbands phone number and out home number changed because after we bought a car from one of the places, the phone went off almost non stop with scammers and telemarketers.
