- Doctor Aquarium replies to jennyWe have filed Compliants with them with no luck.
They do not stop them from calling you.
The only way is to change your number to one that was NEVER ISSUED before.
That is not going to happen.
I would get Call Control Pro that works to where you can set it to hangup on them if you have an android phone on certain phone carriers like T-Mobile and AT&T.
I cannot tell you if it works on others, but it must be an android phone. - Doctor AquariumThey started by asking if you use certain prescription drugs that their are lawsuits against to get your trust.
SCAMMERS
DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION
DO NOT PRESS ANY NUMBERS
DO NOT TALK TO THEM
They are trying to get your personal information to use for ILLEGAL PURPOSES.
This is called DATA MINING.
Then they steal your information to get bills of all kinds in your name.
We have spoke to several people that know about these calls.
They say most of them are USA phone numbers, BUT THE CALLS ARE COMING FROM OUTSIDE OF THE USA.
The legal officals in the USA cannot go after them since they are not in the USA.
If you push a number it can be to get your cellphone to forward calls, agree to a monthly bill, or anything else they can figure out since they are above the law.

- Red| 1 replyThis number is now being used my some company trying to sell health insurance...and still unsubscribing from their call list doesnt work. Neither does reporting them to the Do Not Call Registry.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Hector replies to RedYou will need to file a complaint with the FCC (Federal Communications Commission):
http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm
If you take no action, you will continue to receive telemarketing calls.
Every one of us who received this call are on a list that is passed around among telemarketers. This spam list is bought and sold among spammers and telemarketers. You may receive a call from this scammer/spammer today, but you will continue to get calls from other telemarketers as your telephone number changes from telemarketer to telemarketer.
Some of these telemarketers operate outside the U.S. (like India), so the long arm of the U.S. law may not reach them. They can continue to violate your rights with impunity.
Contact your congressman to pass a law to stop this kind of activity. Some of us consumers are losing money if we receive these calls or texts. Exercise your rights and put a stop to this! - Creative CombatSo, using google voice, I started calling back the numbers listed on the previous page by someone else. Two of the numbers get you human beings, and they get you to the same human. Those are 917-398-5569 and 314-627-5524 (I actually got bored and didn't make it past the 5524 number.) Anyway, both lines were automated calls claiming to be from the "Career Network" and let you press 1 to speak to a representative, or press 2 to be added to their internal do not call registry. Well, why oh why would I want to be added to their list when I could have so much fun with them??
So I pressed 1. I spoke with Alex. He asked me for my number. I gave him the number 202-418-1122, which is the number to the FCC's Wireless Telecommunications Bureau's emergency line. He asked me to repeat the number, so I obliged. Then he told me it wasn't in their registry and asked me if there was another number they could have called. I told him no, that this was the number they called me from. He put me on hold for about 30 seconds, then immediately came back with an 888 number to call if I had any questions 888-361-6348. I think he knew he was busted! I did this twice, once at each number, talking to the same guy, giving the FCC's number. DUH DUH DUH!! The second time he gave the phone to a girl and she tried her hardest not to give me the 888 # but I got it from her finally. I was asking her if she'd mail me information, trying to get her to mail the FCC directly, but she wouldn't take my mailing address and only gave me their internet address. I'm so sad. I wonder if this will finally make the [***] stop calling me now?
I recommend you all do the same, giving the FCC's number, 202-418-1122, as your own, as well as filing a formal FCC complaint. I think if we infiltrate the scam artists' robo dialers with the FCC's direct lines and the FCC gets harassed directly laws will be enforced more quickly. Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire.- Caller: "Career Network"

- BillI've been getting these call for several years.
This what I've found to be pretty effective.
I made a list of spam callers phone numbers and when one of them call, I answer with
AN INDIAN ACCENT AND SAY HELLO, HELLO, HELLO, AND I DO NOT IN GAGE IN CONVERSATION WITH THEM. This drives them crazy and they hang up.
Mission accomplished! Then they put me on their DO NOT CALL LIST. !!!! I win.
Now, those call have dropped off a lot.
It works for me, Try it You'll like the results.
