The scammer did not leave a message on our answering machine.
Our numbers are in the Do-Not-Call Registry.

Caller left no voicemail message, I can only presume some type of phishing expedition. If a number is not in my address book, I never answer. If the caller will not leave a message informing me why they have called my number, then I block the number. Must be a scam of one kind

I have Sentury robo call blocker...does not allow call to go thru..rings only once. If its a HUMAN they will be given instructions to leave message.  You can get the block on Amazon for bout 70 buks. Worth it already...blocked 48 calls so far. It holds 1000!

2nd time this morning.  Different phone number.  "Windows computer virus"  scam.

This scam comes from INDIA and they have been doing this for over 10 years.

Some idiot telling me he was calling about some kind of computer problem. Complete BS. Hung up.

Just received a call from this number and no one answered me and a second a female said " goodbye" and then hung up.

Received a call from this number.  Caller ID listed "Yorktown Heights, NY."  Left no message.  . . . Thanks to all of the above posters for the Scam info!

I bet "Alex" caught my yes on a recording. Damn, I never pick up.

It doesn't matter if he did. The "Yes" scam is just a rumor. There is no documented proof of anyone being harmed by saying "yes".

Foreign speaking female caller stating I have a problem with "the computer" and asked if I was the :owner of THE computer" I asked for her name, she paused. I said this is a scam. She hung up.

I received a phone call this morning and also yesterday wanting to fix the problem on my computer and I told them I don't have one and for them to take my name off their list, but the guy named Kevin said it shows I do have one and I said no.  He hung up.

They called several times, finally answered. Broken English informed me they were receiving "reports" from my computer. Asked how he knew I had a computer. He asked if I was the owner of the computer at my residence. I asked him to tell me what my address was to verify. No answer. I asked him his name and the name of the company. I think he said Sam Richardson and Newtech Solutions. It was definitely something...tech solutions. I asked him to spell the name of the company and he hung up.

Guy said he'd call me every f'n day when I asked he stop calling. Foreign nut!

Called stated this is irs you have a audit warrant. First of all IRS don't call they send a letter. Can't trick me
